I wasn?t sure about the Z Poles but once I unpacked them and snapped them together I was impressed with the quality! Only been on one hike so far. They worked flawlessly. They even survived my 7yo ?using? them. Quality poles, quick to assemble, easy to break down, light weight, and compact size for storage. Perfect for my requirements. Great job as always Black Diamond!

So good, so far!!!

I have used these poles for a couple of trail runnings and I'm extremely satisfied with them. They are really comfortable and easy to fit and fold. Can't wait to take them to another run!!!

Excellent Trekking Poles

After a week of hiking in Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone, I can say that these trekking poles met our expectations in every aspect. They break down quite easily for packing and extend and lock just as easily. They are extremely stable and do not flex or bend. They are a great addition to our trekking/hiking gear.

Lite weight and fold up very compact.

Love these poles they are the third set (other two different manufactures I have owned over the years. They fit in my ready pack well and are a pleasure to use.

Great poles for rough terrain

I purchased these poles to help relieve strain on my knees while hiking / trailrunning. I’m a carbon fiber believer but chose the aluminum based off other reviews. One trip up and down Lone Peak made me a total believer. My triceps were sore the next day, and my knees felt great. The poles collapse down to a small enough package to be easily added to a small pack. I was using a running vest for this jaunt and found these poles could be attached easily to the outside. I hardly noticed they were there. Rubber tips are included for summer and they should double well as a backcountry pole. The poles stood up to considerable punishment as I descended the peak and I would say they are built well. Kudos to the engineering team that developed these tools.
