Working out great. Love that a whippet can be added if desired. Required a YouTube search to figure out how to put the snow baskets on, but that is not the fault of the poles!

I am really impressed with your trekking poles. My previous models were used at Glacier National Park. After an unfortunate accident I decided to buy a new set. Great design, light weight, double tough!

I just purchased two pair of your telescoping walking sticks for my daughter and granddaughter?s birthdays. The three of us are heading to Switzerland in September for a 2 week celebratory hiking trip in the Lower Engadin valley. I love my sticks and find traveling with them to be convenient. They are lightweight but sturdy, fit easily into carry on luggage and are good value. Thank you.

Bought these a month ago and have put on 25+ miles on day hikes. They are light and did not have any issues with the locking mechanisms. They collapse down small and are easy to pack when not in use. Would definitely recommend.

I wanted to post an updated review to my earlier one below that commented on the durability issues. BD’s warranty department sent me a new mid shaft free of charge! Thank you BD for standing behind your products! I am a loyal BD customer for this reason- they make QUALITY products, and if for some reason the product doesn’t hold up, they’ve got your back.

I bought this a very long time ago and have used it for backpacking, climbing, hiking, and just long walks in rough terrain. Now having back and leg problems I use it daily to help me move around. The pictures show my poles, but I cannot find on your catalogue. If you are no longer making these poles, I strenuously recommend making them again.

Bought these 4 months ago, and have used them all over- Yosemite, San Bernardino Mountains, and most recently on a 4 day backpacking trip in the Sierras. They held up great, until the final day when one of the poles completely bent in the center section as I was doing a stream crossing. Now I can’t collapse them. I submitted a warranty claim to BD, and hoping they will send me a new center section. For aluminum poles, they should be strong enough for a simple stream crossing. I’m hoping this was just a fluke, as I have truly enjoyed them until now. Will still recommend, especially since the price is so good!

I wanted these to walk in town and was sure I needed rubber tips but my son assured me they would work fine. He was right! They help me keep my balance so I don't fall and at 74 that's a big concern.

I haven’t put these through the ringer yet, but have used them several times off trail in steep, rugged (think talus country of the Rockies, and they performed as expected. They feel solidly built and durable, the locking mechanisms are rock solid with no slipping, and the handles and straps are comfortable. They are a no frills pole for backcountry use.

I bought these poles a year ago in a store in Grand Lake, Colorado. I bought them for my husband who has Parkinson’s disease and needs poles to walk when we take walks, so he uses them every day. They worked beautifully for awhile and then one pole started collapsing on him. There is no way to tighten the easily adjustable feature. That’s why I bought them, but now it’s a problem. We live in Colorado Springs, how can you help us??
