Comfortable to use. Would have liked a small pouch to compact and store it when not in use. 10/10 this is a sturdy lightweight 5 step.

I got a third aider for a long traverse to go with my older alpine aiders. The new one uses burlier webbing- essentially the same dimension webbing, but thicker and stiffer. The loops are a minutely different, but again, essentially the same. Same length and number of steps.

It's a basic, full-size, lightweight aider. Functional and compact.

Bought this for ascending rope, foot loops are better than a runner

I have been using this to add height ti climbing sticks for my tree saddle. It really helps give a solid step to climb up as I place more sticks. I have not used for aid climbing on rock yet, but havr no doubt I will get same performance.

These are great for those light and fast walls. If you are mostly free climbing with a couple pitches of aid or spotty sections of aid then these are great. Just used these on The Nose in a day and they worked great. If you are going to be climbing pitch after pitch of aid then go with something a little heavier and thicker under foot to save your feet from getting destroyed.
