The Sunlight solar light is a very useful and fun lighting solution. Being able to change the color and brightness makes it useful for many situations, serious and fun. I was fortunate enough to have a few of these when the power was out for a few days in the winter and with the solar charging I didn't need to worry about finding replacement batteries. With the compact size they are easily left on the window sill to charge.

Excellent form factor. Fits well in backpack. I don't have much use for party mode but I suppose some one would use it. Carry it with me on all my hikes, long and short. Always like to have a light with me.

I bought these a while back when we were having problems in San Diego. Best purchase ever. We recently had a black out. I turned it on and was able to work until the lights came on. Casts a ton of light. I keep mine in a sunny spot waiting for the day that may be needed. Bought for both my kids who live in earthquake country.

It?s great that the brightness of the light could be controlled. It?s also neat that consumers have different colored light options.

Easy to use. Easy to learn how to use from the YouTube video. We bought three dozen of these and will send them down to our students in Cameroon. They currently are using kerosene lanterns for studying at night, essentially useless. Your products are changing lives.

This light is so useful. It's bright as a white light, but I really like the colors and in particular the red light. This makes a great light for night that won't leave you temporarily blind if you turn it off. I also like that it remembers preselected colors or dimness settings.

Was a little confused. it would turn on then change colours before going out. turns out you have to hold the power button down for 10 seconds the first time then it works perfectly. Very excited to take this thing camping. lots of great features.

I am giving these SunLight 500 five stars because they work wonderfully. Yet, although I had ordered the 4 pack only 2 were initially delivered. After contacting customer service, they very promptly acknowledged that a mistake was made in the quantity delivered to me initially. I now have the other 2 SunLight 100's. They work as good as i had expected.

I'll be honest, I got it for free with purchase of other products but would buy another one if I needed it. It's very light weight and the charge indicator color flash is a great idea for keeping the cost down while still indicating battery level. The rest of my family enjoyed it so much, there will likely be gifts later in the year for them. Hence likely buying more. I wasn't expecting much out of such a little light, but it does a good job. I wouldn't use it as my sole lighting source for outdoors, but it is light enough to put it in a pack and have a decent backup that has a solar charger built in. The various colors and light show was a great distraction when the power went out for a few weeks. It made things more fun and I would say that this feature has been the best part so far. We were able to charge it via the micro USB cord as well as by solar, which we plan to keep handy for the next power outage. Kudos to BioLite for keeping all their products on the same cord style. I am still able to use my products that range from about 10 years to 1 month old, on the same cords. I get cell phone cases that charge via micro USB that would not have been able to charge otherwise for the same redundancy reasons and now have several ways to charge our phones with BioLite products.

Intuitively easy to use. On low light level will last a long time. Plus in sunny weather, it can recharge itself, or use the USB plug to recharge. Great for camping.

I bought these solar lights for emergency lighting.. I didn't want to worry about or carry battery's and these meet my requirement totally. They are a vital component to my emergency bug out bag, I am well pleased with then . I highly recommend them to any one.

I purchased the Sunlight 100 and immediately put it to work. It come with (at least a partial charge but I threw it outside in the sun just in case. It charged quickly and the blinking green light let me know it was charged. The light is long lasting and the multiple settings are quite useful. The sundial is useful in proper positioning for optimal sun. The leg that props up the lamp looks thin and flimsy but is oddly sturdy. The size is great, and it can slip easily into a pocket. The solar panel is almost as large as the light, so recharging is (as I said before) pretty quick. Lastly, there is a little clip on the leg so you can clip it onto cords, strings or thin rope, then hang it for overhead use. Don't let the size fool you, it is bright (but dimmable). The colored light settings are a nice touch and the changing color setting is a cool little touch. The one thing I have yet to test is the waterproof-ness. I have not had it in the rain so I cannot speak to if it functions when wet or not. I highly recommend this light if you need a small, solar rechargeable and longlasting light.
