Freaking awesome chair. This thing stays under the back seat of my truck. Reasonably lightweight and packs small. I have an extremely bad back and always feel better after sitting in it. Plus two cup holders! Everybody envies this chair. But they do all laugh at me while setting up the "Nunchuck Chair". Small price to pay. Best car camp and canoe camping chair I could ask for. If you are hiking deep into the wilderness, buy one of the smaller ones. But I love the high back and armrests.

I'm tall and never am too comfortable in most camping chairs. This one I love as it has a high back, metal legs and metal structure (no plastic holding it up) and it holds my 275 pounds comfortably and without wobbles. Oh and the cup holder and second cup holder (my cell phone usually goes in there) are great as well. It's amazing how many camping chairs are missing a cup holder.

We love the brown trout fabric pattern on these chairs, they certainly are easy to identify in a sea of camp chairs at a few of the concert venues that we take them to. Quite easy to assemble, lightweight so easy to pack and ultimately comfortable for the intended use.

Out of all the chairs brought by my fellow campers (maybe 5 different varieties) Big Agnes was by far the most comfortable, by a LONG way. I tried all the others but Big Aggie was far superior. Better made, way more lightweight and packed up smaller. Amazing value!

Comfortable, reasonably easy to set up and take down, stows easily in its bag, dries quickly when wet, and accommodates not one but two beers. What more could you want?

I use this chair everywhere and usually keep it in my truck so it's there when I need it. Love the snow flakes/crystals and let's not forget it helps out Protect Our winters while keeping me cozy while sitting and sipping on my favorite beverage.

I love my Big Agnes Big Six armchair. It combines the comfort of a large camp chair with the compactness of a backpacking chair. I added the insulated cover and some Chair Buddies for the chairs feet and its perfect.

i do like the chair firm, light, sturdy, and light and compact when packed. i own many other big agnes products and also have mica basin chair as well their product is always thought-out and high quality products and thats what is expected with this chair as well. even though i like the chair and will continue to use it despite a few discomfort, but here are a few things that couldve been better given its higher pricing compared to other brands. a few suggestions: 1. seating could be deeper and lower so it's more comfortable. the current seating position is a bit higher in a little awkward position as my butts are not in fully seated position. it's a bit slanted towards the front side. i understand the fabric could stretch as i use and hope this will bring my posture lower to more comfortable posture. but current seating feels uncomfortable and awkward. 2. armrest is not 100% supportive and comfortable. middle of armrest lacks supports thus a bit awkward when arms are fully rested on it. 3. Headrest beam.. there is a thin supporting beam(pipe) inside of headrest. being 5'10" my head always sits on the pipe and it makes me very uncomfortable. I have to sit up high to avoid touching it but previously mention awkward sitting position actually prevents you from sitting up straight because the sitting is not deep enough and make you slide/slant towards the front side. it would been more comfy without one. #sweepstakes

I had the chance to use this chair on a 3 day camping trip this weekend. It's comfortable and very sturdy. It's a great addition to my car camping kit. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I have a different brand that has plastic pieces that hold the poles for the legs and back. This one is all metal construction and seems to be a much higher quality chair. It does take a little longer to set up but it's well worth it.

Lightweight, comfortable, sturdy, stylish. Just wish it would assemble itself. It's easy enough, but takes more time than the heavy bulky chairs that you throw in the back of your vehicle.

This is THE chair. No reason at all to look at any others. Unless you want a lighter BA chair for backpacking. Burly, light, and insanely comfortable. Nothing comes anywhere near the quality and reliability of a BA chair. My friends have gone through many a cheap chair while I've owned mine. Still going strong after years. If it ever breaks (doubt it), I'll get another the same day.

Packs pretty small, considering chair size. I'm 5'10" and my head sits right below the top back-rest pole. I packed this chair on a backpacking trip and felt it was worth it considering I had the space. For the people that have trouble putting it together... Just get a trip pod stool or something. This took me probably 1 min to set up the first time, without looking at instructions.

I have a few of the BA UL chairs for backpacking and other uses...this chair works well for concerts and other events where a small package and light weight are not needed. It is comfortable and well made....

For this size chair the packing length is okay. I wish you packed a little bit shorter. The Comfort level is very nice and setup is very quick and easy.

I got to try out my Big 6 chair over the last few days and it actually fits a 6'2" 260# guy! I was using it on a firm surface and while it did flex, I was not nervous about it giving out. It could be deeper as the seat only extends to mid-thigh on me but it was not uncomfortable...and it is a "packable" chair.

Like a few other reviewers, at first, I thought the pull tabs for the armrest were the holders for the armrest - BUT NO, there are pockets to secure the armrest to the frame. Now, I've had a chance to use this chair at the campground, concerts, soccer games, track meets, and so on. Overall, I love this chair - quality build, very comfortable, sturdy, high back, cup holders, packs down small considering its full size, and roomy bag for easy repacking. Absolute luxury!

I'm 6'3" 270 lbs and finding a comfortable, durable, compact camp chair has been a struggle. I'm digging I get the comfort of a large camp chair but it's still super compact. It's not difficult but it does take a couple seconds to set up, but that's a trade off I'm happy to deal with for the compact size.

Gotta have armrests on camp chairs for me-that's the point of relaxing! Like all Big Agnes-light, strong, clever engineering. Does take some time for set up and take down so best for camp or longer events. Have 2-stow away small and stay in my truck so always have them with me, taking up minimal space. Also, bright colors always a bonus!

Yes! The best chair. I think most aging backcountry enthusiasts go through stages. In my teens "I'll just sit in the dirt." In my twenties "maybe a foam pad for the snow." In my early thirties "just a crazy creek or something." In my late thirties "ok chair people are on to something what have I been doing this whole time?" Recently I have tried Helinox, Eno, REI Brand, Nemo, a whole lot of them and now my guests have options because this Big Six chair is mine. I truthfully can't put my finger on it. It's comfy. Like I purchased the additional insulation and bring a packable blanket cuz I'm not going to be able to keep my eyes open comfy. The pack size is comparable to others, maybe a little bigger than the smallest full chair options. I say buy it. At worst you can sell it if you don't like. Good gear like this retains its value. For perspective I'm 5'11 165lbs typical like mountain guy build. I kinda feel like some chairs fit some bodies a little better than others. But I only got this one so I really don't know.
