Comfortable and glad we got this sleeping pad. Worked great for our camping trip in Moab. I was a little confused on how to inflate the pad with this open ended bag and no instructions, but I was able to figure it out and it was easy to inflate in the end.

New inflation bag is lighter/bigger than previous so I like that improvement. I am stuck on this brand as all my old mattresses are still fully functional and your customer service is perfect. I was buying this "shorty" to fit crosswise in the cab of my truck; I do wish it was a few inches shorter for that purpose.

I use this pad more than any of my others. I like to cut weight wherever possible but am ok with a few extra ounces to get the comfort this provides. Great 3 season pad that can be extended into some mild winter weather especially when paired with a supplemental closed cell foam pad.

This has been an awesome pad that's my go-to work horse. I never need to worry if it will fail and the fill sack continues to work flawlessly after years of hiking trips in all weather conditions. My only complaint is that I should have gone with the wider pad so that when I want to sleep on my back then my elbows won't hang to the sides. The extra inches for the wider model is worth it. Not a fault with the pad at all. I used it for a 16 degree overnight camping trip last winter with a quilt in my sleeping bag and was amazingly toasty warm. It simply performs great no matter what the weather throws at you.

I've tried numerous pads and nothing compares to this guy the BA Rapide SL. I'm 5ft, 110lbs and got the 25"x72". I could've got the petite, but I like comfort and was willing to carry the extra weight for the 25" wide. I wish they had a petite 25"x66", to cut down on weight and size. But I give this pad a 5 star all around. My dog even can fit on the pad with me and it's tough enough that she won't pop it. Highly recommend and it's been on several overnight trips on the CO Trail and it's still in perfect condition.

It's not easy finding high quality, hardworking equipment for big & tall persons. I'm 6'3 and 275 pds. This product not only serves me well, but durable enough for my husky/german shephard (110 pds) as well. If you want a bargain, you'll sleep terribly, if you want something to last you, hold up to you and your treks, buy Big Agnes.

This is one the best pads I've used and I've tried a number of them. I find the slightly enlarged sides to be very helpful in creating a good night sleep. It doesn't seem like it would be that big of a deal, but it does make a difference. I like the pump bag that comes with it, though it did take me a couple times of using it to really understand how to make it efficient. It deflates easily and quickly, and I like how it gets folded in half twice to roll up rather than in thirds like so many other pads that I've used. I know it's not the lightest pad on the market, but I don't really care given the comfort it provides. And it is indeed very comfortable. i just keep it ever so slightly deflated as I'm a side sleeper. I did make one poor assumption when I bought it. It's not a winter pad. I had a chilly night when I took it winter camping by itself, but if you throw a closed cell type underneath it, it does just fine. I just didn't have the right expectations for it's R-value. If I were to have any complaint about this pad, it's the noise when rolling over. It's not nearly as bad as some of the Nemo's I've used, but it is a tad on the high side. Quite frankly, it bothers my wife more than me as she sometimes hears it. I tend to sleep a little harder than she does.

Firstly what a hoot to inflate. That was me looking like a goof but with pro level results. If the wind is low just blow up the air bag on your own. I love how my BA sleeping bag hooks on perfectly and this one is big enough to stretch out, sleep so comfortably and even for the pup to cuddle up. Easy compact for backpacking, can't recommend enough!

I've had so many sleeping pads over the years, none have been nearly as comfortable as this one. It's warm and holds air well through the night even in extreme temps. If you're on the fence, this is your sign to go for it!

I've slept on this pad for 60 nights. It's very comfortable and durable. The oversized air chambers on the sides keeps your body on the pad. It's not noisy like some pads. The inflation bag even works well.

I live in Taiwan and there are no lightweight, two-person air mattresses available here so despite the price, we gave it a try. It turned out to be a perfect size for car camping and our BA tent as we expected. We are both relatively thin so it doesn't feel cramped with two people on the mattress. Luckily, we are both deep sleepers so the noise when moving about doesn't affect us but this may affect some light sleepers.

What's nice is you can adjust the padding by how much air you put in. Just be careful: if you fully inflate and then sleep at an angle? you may slip off!

This is my first air pad and it seems pretty good. I found myself slipping off the end all night using a typical mummy bag. I didn't roll off the sides thanks to the unique shape. It inflated and deflated quickly and quietly. I don't know if I would call this warm but I don't have other pads to compare. Overall I'm satisfied.

Very happy with the sleeping pad I needed a smaller lighter pad to take backpacking. I very much appreciate that it is much quieter than the Neo air. I was very impressed at how easy it was to inflate using the pump sack.

I've used Big Agnes sleeping pads for years. After my pad sprang a leak that I couldn't identify, I reached out to the team who replaced it for me virtually free of charge. I already loved their sleeping pads - super durable, comfortable, and I get a great night of sleep in the backcountry - and this customer service only further cements my loyalty to this brand. Highly recommend. You won't regret this purchase.

I keep looking for the best ultralight gear for a tall side sleeper. Our Rapides keep at the top of our list. Comfortable, warm, and light for the three of us.

I've just received this. I have not had a chance to get it out in the back country and use it. I have inflated it and I love the way it fits in my big Agnes anvil horn sleeve and it feels very comfortable. Hopefully in the next week or so, I'll get out and put it to a true test in the dirt so far I love this product. It's gonna give me a very good night sleep.

The worst part of backpacking for me was bad sleep. After some research I dropped into this pad. OMG! Just finished a Colorado Trail Thru hike spent 40 nights on the ground and was COMFORTABLE! We now have the double and a single. Note the double is lighter than two singles, so for our family of 3 the double + single made most sense. Seriously I was warm and comfortable. MIND BLOWN.

I used the RAPIDE SL during my winter 2024 trip through Bryce, Grand Canyon, Zion, and Arches National Parks. The gear performed exceptionally well during the freezing nights, providing great comfort and thermal insulation. The R-value of 4.8 proved to be truly effective. I'm currently using the RAPIDE SL in the mountains of Brazil and remain very satisfied with its performance!

I find this pad too narrow as if I am teetering on top of it. However, it is very warm and durable!

100% recommend as a side sleeper. I am a notoriously bad sleeper in the backcountry and this mattress gave me delightful dreams. It's compact and lightweight and in the 25" wide size was a game changer. Loved the rails as they prevented my inevitable slide off into the tent abyss. Love this pad! Thanks BA!
