Recently spent a couple weeks in Colorado and Wyoming camping with this bag. Large and roomy. Gave me room to move around - I'm a side sleeper that rolls over a lot. Kept me warm down to the mid-low 20's with a thermal undershirt on and Smartwool socks. We had one night down to 14 degrees. Feet got cold during the night. I also have this bag as a zero degree bag. The mattress containment is different on the 20 degree bag and the zero degree bag. Zero degree bag has a complete pouch/pocket, 20 degree bad has a cord running through the top and bottom flexible sections (on the bottom of the bag) with a clip in the middle that connects the cord across the midsection of the bag to create containment for your mattress. Positive of this is widely variable mattress sizes fit. Negative is it's a little quirky to use. I wound up using a length of paracord to keep my mattress snug in the top and bottom "mattress pouches". The mattress I used on this trip was a little oversized for this bag. I do like the mattress pouch/pocket better, but the mattress might not fit.

I went backpacking with the Echo Park 20 and the Campmeister elux sleeping pad (30x78). Two things to say, COMFORTABLE, and warm. I love this sleeping bag. If there was a magic wand to somehow make it pack down smaller, than sure that'd be fine, but this is a big, roomy, comfortable sleeping bag. So, I'm certainly ok with its packed size. (I place it, rolled up, vertically in my sleeping bag, then push on end down, so it ends up being horizontal inside the bottom of my pack.)

I do a lot of moto camping from spring through fall. I love that you can zip it from both sides and use it open like a blanket. I love how it attaches to the sleeping pad, and it doesn't slide off. The bag is very warm and soft. If you're thinking of buying this bag don't hesitate order it you will love it I know I do .
