Excellent product. This tent is not only lightweight, it is very high quality and very solid when set up. The zippers are all smooth and rarely snag. It withstood torrential downpours on a recent trip on the Colorado Trail.

I got this tent for Bikepacking, but its roomy enough to use for any trip. Lots of good things about this tent. Its lightweight, packs up small, tent poles fit between my (46cm) gravel bars, able to sit up with lots of room inside, nice storage areas, vestibule can fit everything and love being able to enter from both sides.

Great tent! Impressivly waterproof (tested for the first time on a 40 days biketouring trip in Ireland!!!) but some parts are fragiles. After a week in my bike tour, one of the pole attachment broke without any particular wind. I had to figure an emergency repair with a tire wrap for the rest of my trip. Big Agnes has honored the warranty at my return and ship me a replacement part, but it scary to see a new tant of this price break after one week of use... Hope won't have any other problem in the future.

No bull. This tent packs perfectly. Kept the heat in. Surprised with how light yet durable this tent is. #sweepstakes

Used on a bike-packing trip and couldn't believe how perfect of a fit it was on the handle bars. Was skeptical at first about the fly extending to the vestibule, but actually ended up loving that feature to keep gear off the ground. The set up is super easy and I am so excited for trips in this great shelter!

Great tent from BA as always-with amazing handlebar attachment which was completely unexpected! Wow!

Only used this once so far, but I am stoked on the design. I actually tried this, the Nemo bike pack tent, and the Seat to Summit to compare the 3 and this design won by far. It had the most thought put into the details. There is no sagging in the tent and the additional features are functional, not just 'extra'. It packs up nicely in the provided stuff sack, or you can use your own and fill a bigger bag with your full sleep system!

Second bike touring trip using my Cooper Spur UL2 and i just love it. Bought the double vestibule footprint, so worth it! Full space for 1 person.

design and material is superb function and quality is excellent but the width of the floor is on the tight side for two 25 x 72" pads and I don't think I want to sleep that close to a friend and if a female is with she needs to be of the affectionate nature because we most likely will end up spooning the two men is fine for just me and a lover I but I'd be inclined to buy the three person if I was doing some camping together with a friend. my mountain hardware light wedge is much room here, but not nearly as sophisticated in design and function, and the quality of attachment of poles and footprint, along with the tarp and vestibules. In all fairness to Mountain hardware, though my Fourseason tent from them is the absolute bomb, and I wouldn't trade it . Again, let me reiterate if closeness with another person is not a concern. This is the best tent I have owned to date and I've been buying tents for 50 years. If you need a little room, go with the three person.

I purchase the two person for the extra room and to store my gear. have now used this tent on 3 overnight bikepacking trips with 2, 3, 4 and 5 nighters coming up. Love that it fits within drop bars as that is my main reason for purchasing. Quality of product is A-1. Perfect ventilation and dual doors is convenient. Enough internal storage. Very satisfied ??.

I bought this tent for my dream bikepacking trip. In 2022, I combined the Western Wildlands route and the GDMBR. I was on trail for 3.5 months and over 4,000 miles. I slept in this tent 99 out of 115 nights, in every kind of weather you would imagine. Snow, rain, sleet, wind, etc. No Issues at all. It proved to be durable and well made. Definitely purchase the footprint, as this does wonders to protect the floor. The tent is easy and quick to set up, even in rain and wind. Quick to take down and pack/load. Carried this in a handlebar harness for the entire trip with no slippage or issues. 1 person in the 2P tent was nice as it allowed getting changed, room to move on a rainy day, etc. The fly also allowed plenty of room for outside storage, even during rain/snow. I would love to see this tent in a shade of green, for stealth camping. I would also like if it had an additional roof vent. A great tent that will take me on many more adventures.

I picked this tent up last summer and have a couple trips in it and so far it hasn't disappointed! Although I haven't tried bikepacking yet I really like the shorter poles and well thought out packaging. Setup is simple. My only complaint, and it's been a trend with tent companies across the board, is that the footprint isn't included. Still bought because I want to protect my investment?

I purchased this tent as my do it all tent for backpacking, light mountaineering, sea kayaking, and bike packing. The short pole set makes the tent pack up super small, yet when set up, this is one of the roomier 2 person tents I've slept in. I would recommend

Took this on a 6 month bike packing trip from London to Lisbon and it performed perfectly! Lightweight, easy to pack and strap, always waterproof, and spacious enough for two.

I bought this tent in May 2021 from REI during their anniversary sales. No regrets, I've used it 4-6 times/year. I have been careful with and so far, no damage to the tent material (now I've jinxed it!). I've used it it for bikepacking a few times, but most of time for backpacking. I like that I can use it for both. I love the inside packets - it helps me keep track of my stuff. I felt like the footprint I purchased was overpriced.

I bought this tent for back-country travel - remote, self-supported bike packing and backpacking trips. I'm mostly happy with it. It's comfortable and light. However, some key parts of the tent seem to be designed more for uniqueness than usability. For the cost, I wish this tent had been better user-tested, as I'm making some modifications after my first two-week trip. Things that work: - Floorspace and headroom. Two six-foot people fit comfortably, with room at feet and head for clothes/small items. There's ample room to sit up, get dressed, etc. Just what we wanted. - The narrow strips of webbing on the fly that you can use to quickly stow the door. Very handy, especially because the loop things don't work. - Neutral color blends in to surroundings. - Front vs. back color-coding. - Lightweight. Things that missed the mark: - The poles. Primarily the weird pole-crossing/junction piece - it's an extremely bulky, unnecessary design. Two separate poles would be easier to set up, and more compact to pack. Also, the short segments make the package fatter than it needs to be. This seems to be designed for short trips/drop bars, but not long trips/flat bars/mtbs. - The tab and loop things meant to hold the doors open aren't that functional. They require two hands and a lot of fiddling to fix - hard to reach from indoors, and unpleasant when the fly is soaking wet. I'll likely replace them with the typical lightweight webbing and cordlocks. - Excessive reflectives. I don't want to be found at night. I bought replacement guylines and am blacking out the reflective strips. - Tent stakes. The tent comes with eight, and eight is the minimum needed to stake the tent. An extra or two would have been nice; I had to buy a few of those as well. - The tent bag. Maybe it's useful for some cyclists, but seems gimmicky. I'd trade it for a couple extra stakes. Ultimately I think this tent will suit most people fine - backpackers and users camping in campgrounds. For certain trips, the need to sleep safely and *stealthily* is critical and this tent doesn't meet that requirement as-is. For long trips, usability issues like the poles and door latch things get tiresome. Both look like possible and unneeded points of failure. I hope these design concerns are considered in future iterations of this tent.

I have had this tent for 2 years, and use it on my annual motorcycle trips to Sturgis. Sleeping in this tent 8 nights in a row, sometimes with strong winds and rain. This tent takes it with pride! Plenty of room for 1 person with gear inside. I love the space in the vestibule for boots & extra gear from the motorcycle. It would be crowded for me with two people. Compactness is wonderful for motorcycle packing, the tent stakes are sturdy. Short pole system is great! I always have the fly erected over the tent, but could easily use it without the fly in proper setting. Love the shelf space above sleeping area, and Daisy Chain system is good for drying towels and wet items. This tent is a keeper, for sure!

Bought this tent for my first foray into backpacking in the Winds. I loved that it easily fit into my pack due to the shortened poles, the weight was easily manageable. 2p comfortably fits my dog and myself. Currently en route to the Sawtooths to give it another go. Very happy with the purchase!

I've only used it a couple of times but this tent is incredibe. It was literally way better than the other gold standard MSR Hubba Bubba tent. It packs down tiny, ways nothing, has enough features to sink Noah's Ark, and overall feels incredible. The tent material feels very light weight, in comparison with the MSR, and may get worn down over time, but only time would tell. I'd definitely never use it without the footprint so invest straight off the bat. Another vent might also be warranted, as it only has one, but from my initial impression this is a stellar back(bike/ski)packing tent and I'm looking forward to using it heavily over the coming months. #sweepstakes

A cautionary tale for others. I was in a horrific wind storm at Rio Grande Village in Big Bend National Park. Estimates were of gusts between 60-80mph for 12 hours. Each gust severely deformed the tent and eventually resulted in a metal fatigue fracture of one of the frame legs near the top junction fitting. I jury rigged a fix using a socket from a wrench set as a "cast" over the "wound" and made it through the trip (see attached photo). The sharp metal edges of the crack also tore the tent fabric which I temporarily repaired with duct tape. The metal frame members have taken a permanent set which deforms the tent somewhat (again, see attached photo). Regardless, it appears that I have inadvertently discovered the design limit I would still recommend this tent and will probably purchase a replacement since mine is not really repairable. I will just be more judicious in wind exposure from now on.

I have had this tent for over a year now and it's as good as new. Its been in some crazy weather (Texas, nuf sed) and held up great. I would recommend adding some method of clipping the peg loops into the top of the tent peg and not just looping them over the peg. I was in a bad storm when a wicked weather front moved through. Winds 20-30kts with gusts > 50. The tent did fine but the force of the wind on the fly actually drove some fly peg loops into the ground down toward the base of the peg (they actually embedded themselves into the ground around the peg). This loosened the fit of the fly. Even so, stayed snug and dry throughout the deluge that followed. A great tent with tons of useful features.

Worked great on a 10 day motorcycle trip from TX to WA and back. 6500 miles. Rain was kept out and set up was easy. Light and roomy. I really like the four storage pockets for stowing stuff up and out of the way.

I just picked this up last week. I really had no idea what to get for a tent but decided this was perfect based on how it was packed up. I did not know it was for bikes until after I decided I wanted to purchase it. For my backpacking style, this is a perfect fit because of how it sits right at the bottom of my bag in its own pack. I like the fact I can just open my bottom of my bag and pull this out and set it up. I also really enjoy how the poles are color coordinated.

Although I like a hammock on river trips when I am sure about the trees, it was wonderful to find a freestanding tent that can FIT IN A DRY BAG! Many Texas rivers don't offer decent tree siting, so this is a wonderful alternative. I had few condensation issues, even in such a humid environment. With a footprint, the floor has survived some rough gravel bars. I am very pleased with all aspects of the product.

I consider myself comfort-driven but as I've begun bike packing, I've had to also consider the minimalist approach! This tent addresses both. Lightweight but packed with features. I've camped in a downpour as well as below-freezing temps with this tent. When I packed up in the morning, the only thing dry was the ground under my tent. Even with the top vent open, there was still a fair bit of condensation on the walls in cold weather without much airflow/wind to help. This is probably the same with any tent in those conditions, though. My only words of caution are 1. to be careful with the zippers on the fly. It's easy to catch the fabric if not careful...but that goes for any of these types of fabrics and not anything specifically against this tent 2. The bag the tent comes in is not up for constantain rain. I ended up in a mess of rain and sand one trip. I packed the tent into another brand's waterproof compression sack and mounted it to my rear rack. By the time I got to camp for the day, water had even started to soak through the included tent bag, inside the compression sack. My only regret? I just got engaged and have an adventure partner for life so now we need the 3-man version!!!

I absolutely love this tent. My only complaint is the tapered floor. We have two 25" wide mattresses and they don't fit on the one end.
