The AdvancedFrame® Convertible is a fifteen-foot kayak that can be paddled solo or tandem. With an open deck design, you can easily enter and exit the boat or utilize the optional single or double decks to convert your AdvancedFrame® Convertible from an open deck to a closed deck kayak in a matter of seconds. The design of this kayak combines our rigid bow and stern rib-frame design with the versatility of tandem or solo seating positions and interchangeable decks.

The Advanced-Frame Convertible Kayak is a fifteen-foot kayak that can be paddled solo or tandem. The design of this kayak combines Advanced Elements rigid bow and stern rib-frame design with the versatility of tandem or solo seating positions and interchangeable decks. The boats hull design has built-in aluminum rib-frame technology that defines the bow and stern for superior tracking and performance! Boat is durably manufactured from 3 layers of material for extreme puncture resistance; polyester fabric sandwiched by vinyl creates a durable and strong outer cover.

The Advanced-Frame Convertible Kayak makes inflation/deflation a snap with Advanced Elements Spring Valves designed for excellent air retention, durability, and ease of use. The boat is a 6-chamber safety design with a durable rip-stop nylon fabric decking. Both the bow and stern have reinforced welded seams for added strength and durability in the rough waters. The boat is equipped with skeg tracking fin, paddle holders, D-Ring tie downs for attachment of accessories and lashing points and 2-adjustable padded back supports for added comfort. Three seat locations allow for paddling solo or tandem.

Maneuvering the boat from shore to water and back is easy with the molded low-profile rubber handles on the bow and stern. Deck lacing allows for quick access to gear when needed. The Advanced Elements Advanced-Frame Kayak measure (L x W) 180" x 32" (457.2cm x 81.28cm), weighs 52 lbs. (23.5kg) and is designed for one or two persons with a 550 lbs. (249kg) maximum weight capacity. If you like to travel with your kayak this boat will fold down to a compact 35" x 21" x 12" (88.9cm x 53.34cm x 30.5cm) easily fitting the trunk of your car or bed of truck. The kayak comes with a carrying duffel bag, repair kit, 2 folding seats and an owner's manual.
