I already have squamish in rigel color for mountain. This was purchased two years ago and is still great DWR and ventilated. However, I bought an extra black one to wear in the town. Many people have difficulty choosing the size of squamish. Until a few years ago you must size down it. Because this product was originally intended for use on the insulator. But now, you no longer need to choose a smaller size because it corresponds to level 3 in the arcteryx layering system. Although the previous version and fabric are different, they still have good ventilation and wind resistance. I am 5'11"(180cm), 196lbs(89kg) and has 44" chest, 33" waist athletic shape. I bought a size large and fit is excellent just with the base layer. (Of course, there is room for worn over a shell jacket or a light-weight insulator.)

Feels great, very light but still keeps light moisture off. It packs into its front zip pocket, and weighs next to nothing. Has draw cords to keep tight when the winds pick up on waist line, hood.

When you're out on the mountain or in the backcountry and the wind whips up, you'll need the Arc'teryx Squamish Hoody for Men in your pack. This hooded wind shell is ultra lightweight and packs down into its own chest pocket for easy transport in your pack. Offering excellent wind resistance and a DWR finish to repel water, the Squamish Hoody is fashioned with articulated patterning to give you optimal range of motion, including articulated elbows and gusseted underarms. An adjustable hood has a soft brim and drawcords for easily customizing your fit, and the laminated die-cut hook and loop cuff adjusters reduce bulk and won't catch or tear off when you're on the trail. The hem is adjustable with a drawcord, and the back is dropped to offer additional coverage. Not only does the Squamish Hoody stow away in its own pocket, but it has an attachment point to strap it onto your gear and go, making it the perfect versatile gear for your warm weather activities.
