Best Waterproof Bags Out There
I own three of the Watershed duffels in various sizes and use them on wilderness canoe trips of up to two weeks in length. The ZipDry seals are bullet proof and make it simple to see and access your gear. I've now replaced most of my roll-top bags with these duffels. They certainly aren't cheap, but they work perfectly, are durable, and are 100% waterproof. If you need to make absolutely sure your gear stays dry, even when submerged, then these are your duffels.
The Chattooga is one of Watershed's most versatile duffels. It can be used as a large first aid kit for a group expedition, a small ditch bag for blue-water sailing, a blind bag for waterfowl hunting, you name it! People come up with new uses for Watershed bags every day, and the Chattooga offers a wide range of possibilities. The Watershed Chattooga, with easy-to-use airtight, watertight zip dry closure which is similar to a heavy-duty freezer bag provides a depth rating of 300' (90 meters).
A tough 840-denier fabric shell with heavy-duty polyurethane (PU) finish, makes sure your gear is delivered from the river without a damp spot to be found. This strong, abrasion resistant construction also has radio frequency (RF) welded seams for added durability and water tightness. Even the smallest details are top quality: Duraflex side-release squeeze style" buckles and D-rings are combined with extreme-duty nylon webbing. The Chattooga Dry Duffle Bag measures (H x L x W) 12" x 20" x 10" (30.5 cm x 50.8 cm x 25.4 cm), has a volume of 1,800 cubic inches (29.4 liters) and weighs 29 oz. (822 g) empty. Bag has a 17" (43.2 cm) opening for easy packing and unpacking, multiple hard lashing points and compression straps.
