I wear these trail pants some made by REI, Columbia, Eddie Baurer. The description was the same. The only thing that they never give is fabric weight and thread counts. They use to include that and I wish they would again because I would have never bought these "sierra" pants. The only thing I think they are good for? Cutting them apart and using them as a pattern because they are that "lightweight" they are as thin as the pattern paper.

The price was great. Like the color - light brown. Which is a hard color to find in women's convertible pants. The fit is good. The only reason I'm not giving a higher rating is that the material is very very thin. Purchased for an upcoming safari and I think I will have to wear some thinsulate long undies underneath, because it can be cold at 4:30 am. And also worried that the tsetse flies might be able to bite through the material. So, I'm planning on spraying them with pyrethroid.

These pants did not fit well. They we quite tight. They were a very different cut from another pair of the same size I had purchased previously. Also no cargo pockets. Would love to find another pair like the ones I bought before. Otherwise I love White Siera.

Absolutely loved them. Got them for a trip to Norway and really put it to the test. Want to buy more since I am petite (5’1”) and they have for my height, which is hard to find without having to alter so I am super happy with these convertible pants. I love these pants! They fit really well and are loose in all the right places. The zip off legs are very easy to take off and put back on. This is the second pair I’m buying for myself for hiking.

Bought these for a cruise this summer. Trouser legs were too wide. Could not adjust without taking out the knee zippers. Price to adjust would far exceed actual cost plus shipping. Therefore, this was a waste of money for me. Was not impressed with the quality either. You get what you pay for, I guess.

My only problem was I needed grey. So hard to tell with names like "caviar", "bark", "lava"...I wish we could go with something novel like "grey", "green", "brown".

I bought this pair and now I want another. perfect for minimalist camping, they pack small, launder easily and dry in a heart beat. They fit well, are comfortable on a motorcycle, and look great. My figure is a bit on the chunky side, by they make me look good as well. Can't get better than that!
