Best pants I've ever had for the dog days of summer, coolest in the hot sun and with the humidity only measureable with a ladle. A life saver for the hot outdoors. You're still going to suffer in bayou & swamp heat, but not nearly as much.

I purchased these pants for a trip on the AT. They have mesh pockets and are very cool. I am 5' 6" tall and normally wear 31x31 pants. The 30" inseam Medium pants fit me fine. I knew they were quick dry when I bought them but I didn't know they are actually water repellent. I will be buying more.

I have a picky 16 year old who has loved these types of pants for a while - we discovered them by using them as part of a Scouting uniform for a camp in the Rocky Mountains. He now prefers these to jeans for school! The fact that they are convertible makes them ideal - no stressing about whether the crazy Colorado weather is going to surprise him and make him uncomfortable - he wears these summer and winter (for different reasons).
