Best comfort in this weight range

I've used this mat around 20 times both on a cot and tent floor and I have consistently slept soundly. I'm a side sleeper and I have not bottomed out at all. I did buy a stuff sack inflator, though, because it takes a little too much effort by mouth not to mention adding unwanted moisture to the inside.

Love It!

Tried the Neo-Air, but I am a restless, mostly side sleeper. Despite the slight weight penalty, the NeoAir Trekker is exactly what I was looking for. Went with the medium, wide model and am a happy camper/backpacker/climber. Perfect choice for an old man who still likes to get after it.

Best Ultralight Pad!

Just got back from a very strenuous 18 mile hike where I had to back my own water in. So every once that was carried mattered. It is extremely light and easy to pack. I found it easy to inflate, even though I was exhausted. It held it's comfort throughout the trip and wasn't too noisy for a person that is constantly turning all night long.

Luxury comfort!

Before buying this mattress I had always to convince my girlfriend to go camping, now she prefer to go camping rather than go to hotel! priceless! :-)

Lightweight and comfortable

Excellent value and comfort. Compacts down well into given stuff sack and can be compressed further with a compression bag. It can be a bit tricky to figure out how much to inflate for most comfort, but that's obviously personal preference. Biggest drawback is it takes a while to inflate, but that's an downside I'd happily take for the weight and space savings over a self inflating option.

I have two of these now

I kayak camp with friends on costal islands and across South Carolina. These are light weight enough to be good options for an overnight or extended camping trip. If backpacking you just strap them to the outside of the pack and go. They have been comfortable and durable now for several years.

Best camping nights sleep

Used this camping mat for backpacking camping, therefore great due to its compact size, its really really comfortable, nearly as comfortable as my Tempur memory foam mattress at home! Its warm also. I have also used this camping mat for glamping next to my wife in her double height air mattress - i had the better nights sleep. I like the fact that you don't have to keep the mat expanded like the prolite series when not in use, therefore it stays in its stuff sack protected until I need it. Negative would be blowing up the mat as opposed to self inflating mats, I have not yet invested in an inflating bag or pump, however not keen on the pump due to noise.

Solid Buy, No Regrets

Multi-day backpacking. I bought the wide to pair with an Enlightened Equipment Rev Wide 20 degree F quilt. The width and temp ratings of these 2 products match very well, I'm 6f1inch, 215 lbs. Not the lightest, but thick enough to sleep on my side comfortably, and when on my back my arms don't fall off onto the ground. Folds well and fits easily in the water bladder compartment in my pack. It suits the purpose I bought it for.

Good quality product that I have come to expect

I bought this for use in my hammock. Have spent some good nights in the forest by my home to test it before camping. It is just what I expected. Warm, comfortable and good size. It does have a little 'crunch' noise when rolling over but it is not a bother. Easy to inflate (using the NeoAir Pump Sack) and light weight.

Noisy

My only complaint about this mattress is how noisy it is - loud crinkling with every motion. My hiking buddies complain about it even more than my snoring! I wear earplugs just so I don't hear the crinkling. It provides sufficient warmth even with a quilt instead of a sleeping bag. I do like the rectangular shape as I tend to toss and turn a bit so I have more freedom of motion before I end up on the ground. I am glad to see they now offer a Regular Wide. When I bought mine, the only way to get wide was to go long, so I have an extra 5" of pad in my tent. I hope they do that with all their models since I would like to pick up an XTherm for winter camping.

I am a Thermarest fan

The Trekker offers great support and easily rolls up into a truly portable size. The fabric is noisy however. The customer service I received was outstanding.

I would buy it again

I love the extra 5 inches of width. I toss and turn all night and having the extra room is nice.

My sleeping bag just got warmer!

Light, tight and insulates like a champ! Only downside is blowing the thing up. But then again 30 deep breaths right before bedtime never hurt anyone!

Great pad

Have only used it a couple times but it has been very comfortable and compact. Seems very durable, great length (fits me very well and I'm 6'1") but is a little narrow. Packs down easily and is very small.

One of my favourite pieces of kit!

I now own two of these, with the coupler. The Trekker is light, small when rolled up, and plenty comfy when inflated. I haven't found it noisy as some others have mentioned. Rather, I've loved every minute on the Trekker whether that was hiking on the B.C. coast in summer, or the interior alpine in late fall and early spring.

Amazing comfort for restless sleepers.

I've been using 3/4 length ProLites forever, but finally made the jump to a Regular length NeoAir XLite. It wasn't perfect, as the roll off factor was too high and I really didn't enjoy the extra length. Enter the NeoAir Trekker, Large Torso. The wide 25" width is great for side sleeping, perfect for flopping around and just ultra comfortable. At only two ounces more then my XLite, it's a no brainer, this thing is awesome.

Comfort and Convience

I bought this in May 2016 and used it every weekend until October 2016, it was my best camping investment ever. It is comfortable, warm, light and its small size in the stuff sack is great.

Super comfy!

I bought this at REI for wild land fire fighting and I'm so glad I did. Sleeping on this is a million times nicer than staying on the lumpy ground. The only thing is is that a piece of straw stabbed it but I was able to fix it with a tube patch.

NeoAir review

great pad, major upgrade to my 30yo Thermarest pad. The kids now get to use the old one and my old bones get to rest easy on the new one!

Super comfortable AND packable!

Very impressed with the volume and depth of this mattress, super comfortable to use, very easy to deflate and pack away. It takes a good pair of lungs to get it inflated, but if you keep a pump handy when car camping, you'll be good to go!

I have been using this for 4 years now for multiday hiking

I have been using this for 4 years now for multiday hiking trips and am very happy with it. I actually didn't think it would last this long without getting punctured but no problems so far. I do think the self inflating versions are more compforable but for long hiking trips its a winner.

HOLY MOLY

So I bought this last year and held off reviewing until I put it through it's paces. Let me start by saying I have used Therm-A-Rest for years. My normal M.O. is a Zlite under a self inflating pad. Worked for me for years. I bought the NeoAir hoping to lighten up and get a little extra cush. I also bought the mini-pump. You should also know I sleep like a 4 year old on meth in a mosh pit. I thrash around. This pad is the real deal. It is comfy, warm for most seasons(in super cold I would go with something a litle warmer), and really holds inflation. After a monster hike through the Bonds in the White Mts of NH and over to Guyot shelter I crashed out. No soreness, and the pad was pretty much as solid as I inflated it. The mini pump is pretty cool and weighs next to nothing even with batteries. The pad packs down to nothing and is stowable just about anywhere in my pack. I am super happy with my purchase even after several multi-night trips and look forward to much more use. Highly recommended!!

Insulation and dependable comfort

I've had my Trekker for years and after trying so more modern, "puffy" pads, I've returned to my ThermaRest. You can't beat the combination of weight/comfort/insulation on this baby.

Great sleeping pad

I have had my neo air for a few years now, it has been with me on a camping / backpacking trip through 6 African countries , multiple camping trips throughout the Rocky Mountains and a weeklong trip through Washington. It packs up to just a bit larger than a coke can and is light enough. Keeps me off the ground and warm, never has to patch it but still have the patch kit in case that changes. The only downfall is it can be a little noisy if you are an active sleeper or roll. Otherwise I would recommend for an easy, relatively inexpensive sleeping pad.

Really comfy takes a while to inflate

I like the neo air because of the comfort but you really have to work to blow it all the way up.

solid life-choice

I bought this pad a couple years ago - and I'm so glad I did! I've taken it backpacking in the Hoh Rainforest (WA), and I was able to use it to sleep in my hammock even when it got down to 40 degrees. Another night I slept under the stars with my pad and sleeping bag, in the wilderness of VA. I've even used it a couple nights sleeping in the back of my Jeep Cherokee. It's been quite durable. I'm 5'4" and this is more than enough pad for me. It still works well for hammocking. I did get a hole (not sure how) but easily fixed it with the included repair kit. My only concern is that I roll around during restless nights and the pad makes more noise than I'd like.

Even bugs like to sleep on it!

I bought this item to go for a longboardtrek in Croatia. Since i needed very light gear i choose the Therm-a-rest neo air trekker. Since the gear is so light i was very surprised by the fact that it supported my body very well. It is super handy and folds into a super small package to carry! i just love it! It kept my backpack light and my back warm and comfy during the night! Even the local fauna and flora couldn't resist my Therm-a-rest some nights :D

lasts for years!! my #1 must have for traveling.

So important to have when backpacking not knowing where your sleeping for the night. Came in very handy when I had to sleep in a airport for a night, camping or just ended up with a miserable bed at a hostel. it took me threw 3 1/4 years and 20countries. i could sleep anywhere and sleep great :)) life saver so many times! And takes up hardly any space!
