Very durable?Ķlasted 20+ years
I bought by red small dive case back in the late 90s. A few years later I started using it as my daily wallet to carry credit cards, cash, etc?Ķ After about 20 years the plastic parts of the hinge just started to break. I was quite pleased to find the case still available so I ordered a red, blue, and clear replacement. Attached are photos of the original case. It?Äôs amazing it lasted so long with daily use and major sun and salt water exposure!

Airtight,watertight, the best case ever
The S3 T1000 case is foam-lined (except clear case), watertight, hard-sided and airtight (it floats!). It is the smallest S3 case line. This patented dry box is designed to handle full submersions--up to 80' (24.38m) for 30 minutes. Clear cases are made of high-quality polycarbonate. All other colors from high impact ABS. All hinge and latch pins are made from stainless steel and will not rust. Latch is a compound design for positive seal and easy opening of case. Case comes with foam insert for protection of content from shifting and high impact.
Case has outside dimensions of 4.40" x 3.05" x 1.40" (11.18cm x 7.75cm x 3.56cm) with internal dimensions of 3.93" x 2.39" x 0.94" (9.98cm x 6.07cm x 3.38cm) with a volume of 8.83 cubic inches (144.7 cubic centimeters) and weighs 4 oz. (113.4 g) when empty. Great waterproof storage for critical yet smaller items. The internal dimensions make this case perfect for storing GPS tracking devices, cochlear and hearing aids, USB flash/thumb drives, medications, electronic keys, pager, jewelry, Fitbit, activity trackers, iPod, MP3, geocache storage, identification, business cards, credit cards, cash, small wallet, first aid and safety supplies, cell phone, batteries, fishing lures, matches, fire starters, camera and is also ideal floating marker for that special location. Case comes equipped with an adjustable lanyard for attachment to wrist, gear or line. Case conforms to MIL-STD-810F Transit Drop Test and Immersion Test and SAE J575 Dust Resistant Test.
