They have been great for ski touring.

Superior Infinium

I have had 3 pairs of Infinium gloves and so far these are the best. The palms of the gloves are tougher and seem to be more resilient and I love the zipper function so that you can go over or under your sleeve. Great set of gloves and very impressed so far.

Well fitting warm gloves

I got these gloves to give good warmth but still good dexterity while out on walk and doing photography in adverse conditions and they are doing the trick.

Excellent winter gloves

Just bought these not too long ago so I cannot attest to their performance in super cold temps yet...however, I have worn them in a variety of conditions down to 30° F, and they have thus-far functioned flawlessly. The fit and feel of these is excellent and, as an added bonus, they look great! Leather palms add to their durability while the fabric on the back allows for superior breathability, all while keeping your hands nice and dry. These are now my go-to gloves for all wintertime activities. Would absolutely recommend to all!

Great glove, questionable fit

I was recommended these for backcountry skiing/mountaineering. I like that they're moderately breathable, can take in a lot of snow/moisture before wetting out, and look good. My hands get cold pretty easily and they're a great midweight option. I've worn these down to about 20F with no issues while staying active. My main issue is with the fit for the thumb and index finger. They're both too long by about half an inch for me. This wasn't an issue until I took a crevasse rescue course and had serious trouble working with knots/carabiners with the gloves. This unfortunately takes it from a minor complaint to big concern. If the tips of your index/middle finger line up this glove will probably work great for you. If not, I'd look elsewhere. Everything else about these gloves is perfect. The 'sensor' aspect was good when they were new, but now my phone screen won't even recognize presses from these gloves. Not a big deal but worth mentioning (and the finger fit issue doesn't help this).

Fit is weird and touchscreen is spotty

I use this for resort skiing and backcountry skiing on warmer days. The touchscreen ability is hit or miss, it did well when I first got the gloves but it seems to be getting worse as I use these gloves more; I'm not sure if it's wearing out or what, but I've had these gloves for < 6 months! They are great for the warmer days when skiing, but not so great on the cold days. Additionally, the fingers fit a little weird. I am between sizes (medium and large), but neither medium or large fit me too well on these gloves. I want more dexterity, so I went with medium, but the middle finger seems too short for the medium and the index/thumb seem too long for the large.

Great gloves, disappointing change in fit

I love Stormtracker gloves and have gone through about half a dozen pairs. It's the perfect glove for moderately cold ice climbing - not too thick, slightly breathable, water resistant, warm until they get wet. I usually bring a couple pairs for a day out. Unfortunately the fit has changed significantly in the past year (Fall 2022). In particular, the thumb is now ridiculously long and has a flap of material that gets caught in carabiners. The pointer finger also seems longer than previous generations. It's really noticeable wearing one of the newer gloves alongside an older model (Fall 2021 and earlier). For what it's worth, there's a similar problem with the Bitterblaze. I was happy simply reordering Stormtrackers when the old ones wore out, but these new models just don't work. Unfortunately I'll be looking for a new climbing glove?

Would recommend

Wore these ice climbing in -10, kept me warm and dry while moving. Not warm enough for stationary use but definitely good gloves for being active.

Great glove with liners, not made for skiing

Definitely a great glove and I love the dexterity of the glove, but I want to make sure I emphasize these are better for active sports. Skiing, specifically resort skiing, will not utilize your hands enough to keep your fingers warm. All things considered though, they are a great glove and I'm excited to use them more for some ice climbing and high alpine climbing (either as first glove or high activity glove). Fit can be a bit loose but it's a good choice for a lot

Favorite all around mountain glove

I've been wearing these gloves for 10 years. Through the years OR has made slight tweets, but the standard of the glove has remained. I do not go into snowy environments without these gloves - back country skiing, mountaineering, ice climbing and no matter the season. 20 days in Alaska climbing Denali, and I used these gloves every day. OR, don't ever stop making this glove.

Use to be perfect..

My second pair of this glove; absolutely my favorite ski touring glove. Waterproof to a certain degree, lots of dexterity for tools, and great warmth. They use to also have the best in class touch screen sensitivity (I'm talking index AND thumb people), but for some reason, the newer version of these gloves have made a huge turn for the worse in this department. I can't even launch an app without triple tapping something. Huge disappointment? what happened OR?

Best Ice and Uphill-ski Gloves I've Owned

I had always heard these were popular gloves for leading ice, so I finally got a pair and was impressed! Great balance of warmth/protection and dexterity. Obviously they are better for "warmer weather" ice days (ie: at least 20 deg. f for me), as they are on the thinner side. But they are much more robust than a liner glove. In terms of skiing, I wore them for nearly 3 days straight on mild weather multi-day ski outing - uphill, downhill, and at camp. I found myself saying I loved them. Note that they aren't waterproof - the "Goretex" label can be a bit deceiving there, so I'm not sure of their application in alpine climbing or anything that would involve lots of direct contact with snow. Not sure of durability as this is my first winter with them.

Great hiking gloves

In temperatures in the 20's (and below), my fingers stayed warm as long as I was moving. Wind resistance excellent and always able to use touchscreen on phone. Also able to wear gloves when temperatures rose to 40's.

Great gloves

Waterproof, windproof, rugged. These gloves are saving my hands. They fit slightly big which is the only reason they don't score full marks.

great all-arounder

My second pair of these gloves. Great all around weight for a range of temperatures and activities. Good dexterity. Sizing seems to have changed in recent years; XL used to fit great, now it seems little on the large size

Great all around gloves for ski-touring and ice-climbing

These are great all-around outdoor gloves. I use them for ice climbing and ski-touring when the temps are slightly below freezing or if I'm working too hard to warrant warmer gloves.

Great gloves

I skied with these in both warm and unexpectedly cold days. I was pleasantly surprised how well they handled both temps. I expected them to do well in spring skiing conditions, but when the wind chill dropped close to zero, I was still ok. Had I planned for those temps, I would have gone heavier but it is nice to know I had a bigger range with a more manageable glove.

My favorite mountaineering gloves.

Love these. They break wind and resist water well. Treated the leather palms with nikwax and they haven't soaked through even when handling an alpine rope for extended periods. Can use gaia gps on my phone through them and they are super comfortable. Zipper closure and large loops to clip to a Krabi to keep them together are nice features. My most worn glove for mountaineering in cool, windy or damp weather.

Great gloves!

I use this gloves for cycling and they protect me from the wind. In very cold conditions you might need a liner to keep you warm!

High dexterity glove for winter climbing - fits large

Great for technical leads where the added dexterity is required, cycle between these and my Showa 282's. These will keep your hands dry/warm in everything but extremely wet conditions. Also really enjoy these for an uphill touring glove. They breathe well and keep the wind off your hands. These will wet out quickly if you spend anytime digging through snow though - but that's not really their intended purpose anyways. Fit - These fit fairly large. I wear a medium in every other OR glove, small was a perfect snug fit. Would recommend sizing down if you want to use these for climbing

Near perfect winter climbing glove !

This glove is hard to beat in terms of dexterity and offers surprisingly a good amount of warmth for how thin it is. I've climbed in -20c and they are warm enough as long as you are working hard. It also dries pretty good between pitches when kept close to your chest. Things that could be improved on ; 1. Durability. After about 8 pitches of ice and alpine mixed climbing, the index finger and thumb where pretty worn out and started to get holes in them. Compared to other pairs that i own, these where below average in terms of durability. 2. zipper. I find the zipper to be pretty useless. It adds unnecessary bulk and it tends to open up a little when i'm climbing, which is annoying. other than that, i absolutely love these gloves ad will keep on stocking up on them. They would be perfect if they where more durable tough !

I own 2 pairs?what does that say ;)

Wanted a snug fit tactical winter glove, I bought the XL in black for daily use and got these in L to have a bit more dexterity. They were snug to start, not uncomfortable, but not ideal, however they stretched out just enough to now be perfect for my needs. However, being snug, they aren't as warm as the bigger size I got. So if you want them for dexterity, go with your normal glove size, if you want them comfortable size up.

Buy them

If you need a great all round use glove, buy these! I've got gloves for everything, from tactical gloves for specific purposes, fancy pants gloves for fall date nights, to heavy lined leather work gloves, so I'm kinda an expert lol. These gloves will be a perfect go to as my daily wear, from late fall till early spring. Fit is on the snug size, I'm usually a L and these XL are pretty close to that, L would have been too small. Warm, water beads off and they seem to breath well. Anyway, just buy them if you're thinking about it

Clutch piece of kit - best thin glove I've ever used

By WildernessFlightMedic

I work as a ski patroller and flight paramedic in Northern Canada, and I own at least 3 pairs of these gloves. While not a warm glove, they have amazing dexterity and I use them as for any task that needs bare hand like dexterity in sub zero temps. They continually exceed expectations, and are much warmer than one would think for a glove so thin. They are also my uptrack glove for touring or any high impact activity, and are more than warm enough for that. The sensor feature works well, but is...
