I bought this jacket in Nov 2023 but I didn't really get to utilize it until this ski season. It's kept me dry and warm through rain and snow while I'm out on the mountain for 5+ hours at a time. When it's a warmer snow day I can wear it with two base layers underneath and feel perfect. When it's really cold at night I can additionally fit a mid layer and an insulation layer under to keep warm and not feel restricted or marshmellow-y. I really like the hood and how it goes past my eyes so that rain water does not get in. I also love that the hood can fit over my large helmet, still allowing me to zip up so that no windchill gets in. I love the amount of pockets on the jacket, there's a place for everything I need to carry like my lift pass and my phone and snacks and eye drops. When it doesn't get soaked, I will hang it in the sun to dry and it will be ready for my next trip. When it is wetter than usual I will toss it in the dryer on air dry. In terms of quality, I think it's holding up really well to the wear and tear that I've put it through. I am 5'5 and I weigh 155-165lbs. I went with a large in women's. Medium also fit but I have wider shoulders and wanted to account for the amount of layering I might need to do.

Love this coat for skiing and watching my kids ski, got the blue/purple color from a previous season and color is amazing. Big upgrade from my previous strategy of gore-tex coat over layers...this works w just a T-shirt and thin merino base layer. Only complaint is I sized up to get room in my shoulders, which made the hip area massive. I typically have this problem but maybe this is a benefit to others, I just have broad shoulders. Still highly recommend.

I bought this jacket in a blue for skiing and absolutely love it! It's so warm and the armpit ventilation is great for when it's warmer temps. The pockets are amazing, so many to choose from! I sized down to an xs and fits perfectly, not bulky or too tight I can't move. I've havent had any issues with the zipper and I was worried because most people complained about that. I find just hold the jacket from the bottoms and zip up. 10/10

4 stars only since I have yet to test the warmth on the slopes and the zipper could better noting previous reviews. Otherwise, feel the warmth of the jacket without the bulk and the length, color & slightly oversized fit were what I had been looking for.

My jacket is warm and I like how long the back is. The zipper is a bit sticky, but that seemed to be common in the other reviews I read before purchasing. I also love how bright and visible my jacket is.

What can I say, this jacket is perfect. Very comfortable, I get lots of compliments on it, and it's blocks icy wind better than described/expected. So far, I have needed to lose layers each time because I'm overheated!

This is an excellent coat. The wind/snow proof features are very comfortable. The material is high quality. The zipper is a bit difficult, but this is due to the weatherproof style of zipper. The teeth are covered by a strip of plastic material to prevent snow and ice buildup. It's loosened up the longer I've used it. It feels a little large for the size I normally wear, it's still completely warm and comfortable with no uncomfortable wind or weather, the extra space will allow me to layer easily. My only CON is that the main exterior pockets are unusually small.

I rubbed the zipper with bar soap before using the jacket. It still took some concentration to get it started, but it never broke. Otherwise, the jacket is warm and the colors are nice. I wore it in Breckenridge walking around in -10 F January weather and felt just fine. I also like that OR clothes accommodate gals' hips! The jacket skimmed well and didn't get hung up there.

Jacket fits well. A bit oversized as some reviews have mentioned so I sized down. Very warm for skiing and works well with layers for really cold days. Very happy with the color, fit and warmth.

This is the first time I purchase a ski jacket with a light lining/padding. I skiid with it for the first time (on a very cold day) and noticed the difference right away. This jacket has all the features I was looking for such as inside pockets and the sleeve pocket which is handy for the RFD passes. The color is beautiful and the white zipper is a nice accent as well. I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to many years of wear!

I tried on over 30 coats.There was always discomfort too small, too big, too tight...and then I tried this coat. It fits well and makes a beautiful silhouette, the length of the sleeves and the back is perfect. Ventilation under the arms is great.I'm satisfied. OR has zippers that are not smooth this is the big flaw for me I also have a hard shell and the fit is also perfect! corresponds to my size 6 feet 250 lbs

I did find it to fit a bit larger than other jackets, I usually wear a medium but ordered a small after reading other reviews on this jacket. For reference, I am 5'8 and 150 lbs, I find this jacket fits slightly loose especially around the stomach and butt, even with a thin base layer shirt and a fleece sweater. So depending on if you like a really baggy jacket with room for lots of layers or a snugger fit consider ordering a size down.

In my personal opinion this jacket is great. It is comfortable and warm up to around -15 degree Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit), give or take a couple degrees. I've worn it snowshoeing, to go out and take northern lights photos when it is not extremely cold and I wear it to and from work everyday as well. It doesn't need to just be a ski or snowboarding jacket. It has many uses.

Had a hard time choosing what size was best because my hip size corresponds to the XL but all other measurements correspond to L. If you're in the same boat, I would recommend ordering a size down unless you really think you'll get a lot of use out of the snow skirt, which is the only portion that fits snug. Otherwise this is very roomy, but seeing as we're getting an arctic blast this winter, it's been perfect for staying cozy and I can layer my thickest sweaters under it no problem. Excellent for many winter sports including fat biking!

This jacket is super lightweight, has recycled insulation and feels quite warm. It cuts the wind well and has a nice stretch to it. I LOVE the length and fit of the jacket, it actually covers my butt on those colder ski days! And the pockets are great. Sometimes the zippers gets caught, so you gotta be careful, but otherwise it fantastic. I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs, and I found the Small to be more of a standard Medium so it fit quite large on me. Not bad if you want to be able to put lots of layers underneath and I appreciate the broader range in sizing that OR offers!

This jacket has all the things I wanted. A ski skirt, an arm pocket for the ski pass, and a place for my goggles. However, after a day of skiing the zippers on the front two pocket both disconnected from the bottoms holder and would not longer zip shut. It's a good jacket I just need my things to stay in the pockets and now those are not usable until I find a seamstress to repair them.

Even though her measurements matched the size we purchased initially, it was too big. Great jacket, though!!!!

I fell in love with the picture and the description. It's a really nice jacket but my definition of freezing cold means I'm able to ski with it a whole day at -20 without complaining that I'm cold, which sadly, I'm not. Even with many layers, I feel the wind in the chairlifts on mild -10, -15 days. Now looking for another ski jacket ??
