Didn’t like any of the new North Face backpack and when I found this older version with an awesome style I got excited. When it arrived I couldn’t have been happier that it was exactly what I wanted. And at a cheaper price!

Purchased the backpack to use as a carry-on for travel. Arrived super fast and everything was as promised. Backpack in great condition and good quality. Exactly the same as the North Face backpack from store, and saved a lot of $$. Good size and many compartments to use for travel.

I finally upgraded from my 10 year old Recon, and this one is great! It's easy to see they upgraded a lot of the places that wore out quickest on the older models, like the elastic bands on the shoulder straps, and the front mesh net panel. I just got back from vacation, and this took everything my old recon did, but was far more comfortable and less cumbersome than the older model. Highly recommend!

Love this backpack. Use it everyday on my commute with my motorcycle and you can fit a lot in it. Serves as a solid trunk alternative. Very comfortable too.

It is incredibly comfortable to run with. No hesitation there. Given that it's summer, it easily fits all my gear, including change of clothes for work. I'm not sure if it will be sufficient in the winter when clothes are a bit bulkier, but I haven't crossed that bridge yet. Incredibly happy with the product and the price.

As soon as I got my hands on the bag I could tell it was of high quality. I used a nike vapor bag for several years, literally, until it fell apart ( in my case it was the air shoulder straps that crumbled away). I could immediately tell that the Northface recon was a durable bag and I honestly don't anticipate having to buy another bag for a few decades.

I bought the Northface Recon backpack as a replacement to the NF sweeper which is now discontinued. It is a great backpack that suits my daily needs as well as weekend excursions/ hike/ walk. it's very spacious with 2 inside pockets. i love that it has 2 side mesh pockets for water bottles and the exterior expandable mesh pocket is convenient for my gym shoes to fit in.
