I love this backpack. It is so well made. Some pockets including the space for the laptop are lined in a soft fleece. It is super comfortable to wear even fully loaded thanks to the chest and hip buckles. The zippers are a great quality and easy to use. The side handle is great for times when I need to carry it in front of me (ie down the aisle of an airplane). I am sure this will last me a long time. My daughter's North Face backpack (different style) is holding up so well after many years of use, so I expect mine will too.

I am an avid kayaker, and was in need of a lg. daypack to carry a spare change of clothing, a small colapsible cooler, 2 water bottles, food, phone, camera etc., and still fit in the cockpit of my kayak, while allowing me to paddle comfortably. (I will also tie a 2 man tent to this for overnight kayak camping trips once in a while.) This pack is ideal for what I needed, and it arrived. with no sales tax and no shipping charge, in 2 days!! The other real plus was that the pack arrived in an "Adorama" box, which suggest an affiliation with them. (Adorama is a photographic equipment supply store that I have used very satisfactorily for years.)

The shipping for this product was very fast. I love the colors of the bag and how comfortable it is to carry. I usually have it on my back all day and it is so comfortable i can barely notice. It has a convenient pocket for my school laptop and holds all my books without a problem. I have gotten many compliments on it and have recommended it to my friends.

This was an amazing bag. I've used a north face bag since my sophmore year of college and it lasted me about 5 years. It was amazingly durable and long lasting. So when I found out I was going to med school, I wanted to buy another north face bag because I know longeviity and durability is a big factor of mine in making the decision. I could not have been any more satisfied with this bag. I love the hidden pockets and the laptop compartment. During my flight to school, I was able to fill the entire bag with books, clothes, water bottle, and it held everything in tact. You can fit so many things in this bag, it truly is awesome. North Face did a great job with this product, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Used for regular travel with a 17" laptop, and it does great. Quality North Face construction - Absolutely solid bag. Wish it breathed a bit better on your back, but other than that I've been extremely pleased. Sunny Sports had the best price I could find.

This is an excellent backpack. Designwise, I have no objection-- it is well thoughtout and as far as the black one's concerned, the design is not too much nor not too minimal-- it is not eyecatching, but it is not boring to look at, too. I personally like the paddings on this product. Apparently, this backpack is endorsed by American Chiropractic Association, since its design is proper for anatomical reasons. The backpack sits up high on the back and stretches all the way, along with a shoulder and waist strap to fix the backpack as closest to the back, which is the healthiest way to wear a backpack. Thanks to the proper designs, the weight gets nicely distributed throughout the entire back. This means that I no longer have to hunch my back forward to balance the weight of the backpack. Furthermore, the compartments are very thoughtfully installed on this particular product-- it is numerous as well as functional. The front pockets are excellent and the interior pockets are designed for storing various items including smartphones, wallets, pens, etc. The laptop compartment is well padded and it has a padding even on the bottom part of the laptop compartment, which would protect the laptop from damages when the backpack is laid on the ground hard. Overall, a very solid backpack; as I have not regreted once with my old Borealis, I don't think I will regret my choice to buy TNF Big Shot.
