I would recccomend this product to my friends. It was everything I have needed so far. I would say its a warmer weather sleeping bag though. I wouldn't take it on any trips below 30 degree weather. Though it's really comfortable and lightweight, which has been perfect for 3-5 day trips. Haven't had time for any longer trips so can't say much on that .

If you live in the PNW and do any weekend warrior or extended backpacking trips, this is the sleeping bag for you. Packs smaller than any other 3 season bag I have had before. You don't need a 0 Degree Bag or even a 20 Degree bag here, especially if you don't sleep naked. I purchased the long version as I am just under 6'2" and 200 lbs and I have plenty of room to move around in the bag without losing any warmth. This isn't you top of the summit bag, but if you do any hiking where the temperature is between 35-50 degrees at night, this is the right bag for you.

I love love love North Face sleeping bags, my last one I've had for over 13 years and it is still great but I needed a bag that packed down smaller and this one does, however, i was hoping for it to pack down even more but it will do and it is more than half the size packed down as my old bag and very lightweight. So excited for the next 15 years in this bag!

Great bag for all around backpacking and camping. Light, warm, and packs small. Good on bike trip too. If you only had one bag, this would be a good choice. Another reviewer said too many people get a Bag that is rated for 15 degrees or colder and they are rarely in those conditions . I couldn't agree more. A 30 degree bag is very versatile and probably the best for all around use. Enjoy the outdoors with this excellent bag!

I've now had the Gold Kazoo for over two seasons, both as a summer bag and also in the winter and have been very pleased. Most of the year I just use the bag and it is true to it's 30 degree rating, however, I have always slept in long underwear tops and bottoms. The bag compresses well and with the compression strap stuff sack (included) the size is about like a volley ball. I am 5'11" and 150 lbs, slim build, and the regular bag fits perfectly, only about one inch to spare in length and nice in the body, ie, when I turn in the bag from side to back to side, the whole bag turns with me which is great. Also the inside fabric is really nice, like silk. In winter I extend this bag by having a silk liner inside and the bag inside a bivy sack (Adventure Medical) in my tent. With this system wearing clothes I have been warm down to 5 degree F. I think typically people overbuy in getting a sleeping bag, a 15 or 0 degree bag when they rarely are in that kind of cold. A 30 degree bag is perfect in my book. I highly recommend my system of silk liner and bivy (additional weight of 12 oz for winter or cold below 30 degrees) . This is a great bag and from my forty year of using North Face products; they stand by the lifetime warranty if needed. Enjoy!!

The transaction was great. I ordered in the afternoon (their time) and they managed to get shipped that same day. I did contact customer service via email for a price match and found it to very quick & easy.
