I was interested in adding this mug to my backpacking gear but the lid does not fit securely. In fact, I think there would be a significant risk of possible burns if using with any hot beverages or food, particularly given the odd shape and the inability to even hold the lid down with a finger while drinking. Sunny Sports kindly handled a refund.

I was a little disappointed to find they made a new style then the one I saw in the store. Lid doesn't stay on all too well and the grippy plastic on the current one feels inferior to the prior model.

These mugs nest in any number of pots and pans you might be taking with you.So,carrying items in them means less cludder in your backpack and things floating around.Keeping food (soup) and hot drinks (coffee or tea) hot are what these mugs are all about.Different colored mugs gives everyone their own and saves an argument.

Great cup with a well-fitting lid. It's lightweight and does a good job of keeping hot drinks hot, with the stainless steel interior. Two of these fit easily into my 1.5 liter pot, being just barely short enough for the lid to fit.

I fly a lot. I like to have a nice mug to drink coffee, tea or other hot drinks in my hotel room. Many hotels only supply flimsy paper or styrofoam cups. This is a nice compact mug that I can pack and use to enjoy a hot evening beverage.
