My son wanted down jacket for warmth in frigid Chicago. I suggested a down parka but being the fashionista he is, he wanted something more stylish and hip, such as a bomber jacket. We ordered this jacket in Small, deep olive color. He is very pleased with the style and fit, and especially the warmth in downtown Chicago. He is 6'1", broad shoulders, 165 lbs. Likes his clothes slim cut, fitted. This jacket did fit him w/ a little wiggle room for shirt underneath but probably not a heavy sweater.

I'm 5'11", 195lb, and purchased an XL jacket which fits well (L will be too small). The jacket looks great and comfortable to wear. It is also very warm. On really cold day as was the case recently in NY around 14F, I did have to wear another jumper inside to keep me warm. The main thing I don't like about the jacket is that the hood is way too big. The hood tends to cover the eyes, making visibility difficult esp on windy days. I found that wearing another wollen hood inside helps to keep the hood stationary and also keeps me warm on windy day. I have worn it outside when there's light drizzle, and it seems to be fine, but it's not 100% waterproof, so can't wear it out in heavy rain. Overall, the jacket is great value compared with other 650 Fill jacket.
