I am from Texas and, for whatever reason, I have developed a bad habit of accumulating jackets. I am 5’10”, 150 lbs and throughout my jacket-buying history I have always been forced to order a size up due to my awkwardly long and lanky arms (aka my torso wants to wear a medium, but my wrists demand to be covered, too, and so I must order a large for that extra sleeve length). As a result, I almost always look like I’m wearing a potato sack…. but at least those wrists are warm and toasty. ANYWAY- I initially ordered a large in the Marmot Ithaca. It was way too big around the torso and seemed to have good sleeve length, so I took a chance and exchanged for a medium. I couldn’t be happier. From a tall lady to all you other tall ladies— this is your jacket.

Had tried this on in the store and loved the look/feel, but was worried about warmth. It is holding up nicely on my 4 deg F walks with the dog. Sleeves are nice and long, too. I'm 5'10" and it is often hard to find winter coats with sleeves that are long enough.
