I used this thing in the rockies while it was snowing with a midlayer on. It kept me surprisingly warm while it was snowing in the mid low 30's high 20's :)

This jacket is great! I'm a climber. I wanted something very warm and very light, but not so light that it will wear out super fast. I went with the Nitrous over the more expensive Ghost Whisperer. I saved $100, it's just as warm (if not warmer), it's almost as light, and the material's look like they'll hold up a little better against some wear and tear. I would definitely recommend this jacket!

I own a couple MH Nitrous Down jackets. Recent models have only 1 drawcord on the hem. This causes bunching up which takes away from the appearance of an otherwise great looking jacket. The description on the website says there are 2 draw cords which motivated me to purchase a new color I liked. Very frustrating. My first time buying from this retailer. Probably my last.
