Good warmth but possible safety hazard

Great sleeping bag. Kept us warm and comfortable on a 40 degree night. The adjustable hood felt great. Can be used with pillow either inside or outside the bag. The only problem is that my six year old woke up scared with the adjustable hood strap around his neck tight enough that he could not get it off. (It scared me too.) Maybe he moves around a lot and so got entangled. They should design it so that the slack in the strap disappears somehow. For this reason I will not recommend this sleeping bag for a child. As adults, we were fine with the straps, though.
