They look different on different website but claim to be the same jacket.Charles S : Semi-gloss.Dan K : How shiny the jacket is, is dependent upon how the light hits it and what color you have (mine is graphite, which is like a silver/gray). It looks very nice. How this jacket will keep me warm I will write after temperature will be below zero by Celcius.

I have bought it month ago, so tested it only at home because outside temperature is above zero by Celcius. It is very warm. Bought size L and it fits as expected. I'm 185cm height and 95 kg.

Warm at 50 degrees

I got a great deal from Sunny Sports on this jacket and I would have felt ripped off if I had paid full price. This jacket is warm to about 50 degrees with layers. This is not what I expected from 800 down. The jacket is bulky and stiff and not as stylish as other, similar, jackets. I have jackets/coats from other brands like North Face that work so much better that I'll probably never buy Columbia again. By the way, it's not all down but has synthetic too (that's the 60 in 860). What a disappointment.

love the down jacket

This jacket is extremely light weight but very warm. I love the lining which makes the jacket glide on and off very easily. While it is not technically water proof, it does shed water pretty well. Got this at a great price at Sunny Sports which saved me $50.

Promising apparel for winter

With the unseasonably warm weather in NH so far, I have not worn the jacket yet! However, I specifically purchased 4 of these for myself and 3 children for use in our winter hiking and snowshoeing trips. The combo of 800 fill down, 60 fill synthetic, and the silver reflective lining all make this a promising jacket. If purchased on sale this is not much more than some 600 fill down jackets. With this amount of fill, the jacket will really be used to stay warm during rest breaks and worn over existing lighter layers needed when really exerting yourself.
