I purchased this for family camping 13 years ago. It has stood up to multi-day down pours, high winds, and hot summer days. It's very spacious and tall enough to stand up in. During one thunder storm we had 10 people inside playing cards and board games. It takes two people to set up but once you do it a few times it goes up in minutes. Nice features are the auto closing door for the kids going in and out, clip on top to hang a lantern, small equipment pouches, and power cord access. I truly got my moneys worth out of it after 13 years of using it multiple times each spring and summer.

I was honestly worried that since it was cheap it wouldn't hold up to Florida rain. I was glad I was wrong. Rained the whole night and inside stayed completely dry. Door stays ajar if not zipped up, velcro might as well be useless, which is annoying but otherwise having an easy in and out was fantastic. My Marmot 4p tent has 3x more pockets than this 8p tent. It has good ventilation. Stays cool in Florida sun. No other complaints.

My family loves camping trips and we go about 4-5 times a year. We have a few different tents in different sizes because sometimes more or less people will join us. The Coleman Montana 8 person tent is fairly easy to set up, took us about 25 minutes. Its spacious inside and is durable against water and insects. This tent comes in blue and green and I chose the green color. We bought it on Colemans website for around $290. In my opinion it is well worth it. My children love the space inside and were able to help set it up. There's lots of nice features, including pockets for belongings and nice windows!

This tent withstood an 80 mph wind/sandstorm, was flung a foot off the ground with the roof against a tree for 15 minutes!!! The curved door pole suffered one break and one of the tent support poles suffered one break. Great build Coleman. Now, I just need 2 replacement poles.

I purchased the Coleman 8 person Montana tent last year and upon 3rd use, one of the poles (gray) to the sides broke. I then bought a new tent of the same model early this year and on 2nd use the black door tent pole broke. I've been unsuccessful in contacting Coleman about this so far. Shame the quality of the poles is bad and they also pose a danger as they're fibreglass so they splinter easily. Other than the pole, it's pretty decent tent but you're only gonna fit 4 people realistically.

Big, very spacious. Can withstand heavy winds and rain. Great for a big family and/or a big group of friends. Assembly is easy as I am used to setting up tents.

It is my first tent for the family of 4. It has a lot of space and feels like small home. Especially good for families with little kids. We can easily put 3-4 sleeping cots inside. It is waterproof and has windows so you can have fresh air inside. The only cons is assembly. It takes a lot of time! Ah no, the storage as well it is not easy to pack it back to the small bag.

Big tent can fit more than 8 people. Good airflow so you can breathe at night. Storm resistant if anchored down. Putting together is fairly simple just follow instructions.

These tents are great . Altho a lil pricey they are very easy to assemble very spacious .def worth office .keeps well protected from the elements very sturdy n great quality would def recommend this for any camping ir outdoor. Trips

I had a friend who had a Coleman. Having previously had a vango I was reluctant to leave a brand I knew. I'm glad I did. Went up easily between the 2 of us. Had some awful weather which it didn't leak through. Very pleased we made the switch.

This tent was super easy to take in the car and easy to assemble! It provided great ventilation during the trip, held up well, & we stayed dry during rainy nights!

Held up well during storms and no rain got in. We fit a king sized air mattress and a chair in our tent. Setup was decent but took two people for sure.

This tent was a perfect size for our big family. It was also incredibly easy to assemble and well made. It says it is an 8 person, but I think to be comfortable, I wouldn't put more than 6 people in it.

This tent is great for camping. It fits 8 people comfortably and is very easy to setup. I was able to set this up in around 25 minutes. This is able to hold light rain but we had a leak when it rained heavy. This also has small vents for food ventilation.
