My water bottle was in great shape but mouthpiece had worn out and the straw went missing. Instead of buying a new bottle, happy to have kept this one in service. The straw is easy to trim to fit.

I bought the replacement valves and straws as the valves by themselves have been "out of stock" for several months. The valves wear out pretty quickly and it's frustrating that I couldn't buy just valves. This is not sustainable.

I am very happy to be able to replace the bite valves and straws for my eddys. As others have noted in reviews, the straws are about a quarter to a half inch too long. Not a big deal to cut off the ends, but would be nice if the replacement straws were the same size.

Even though I read the other reviews, most of them mentioned 'older' bottles so I thought I would be okay. And I was wrong. I have a newer, stainless steel 20 oz. Eddy and the straw is too long. I'm guessing these are for the .75L/24oz Eddy? It's disappointing because I really could have used these replacement parts.

I bought this a month or so ago. My Eddy water bottle had begun to leak a bit. Replacing the straw and bite valve made it like new again. I was a little frustrated that despite the fact that the straw is for the same bottle I have, I still had to trim it a bit before it would fit the bottle. Otherwise, very happy with the replacement parts and, in this day of planned obsolescence, I appreciate that my water bottle, in general has lasted long enough to need replacement parts. Excellent product.

So nice to have the option of replacing the "expendable" parts while not having to replace the nearly bombproof bottle and cap. @those with old bottle caps, with different straws: I had an old one too, but for $1 more (a mere $8) on this very website you can get a whole new cap, valve and straw assembly, that does fit your old bottles. So... no need to rate this poorly because it doesn't fit the old style, right?
