Sierra Designs Nomad 6-Person Tent

We paid about $250 for this tent (a great value). It's roomy and easy to set up. We used it for our first time in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (Minnesota/Canada boarder) recently. Aluminum poles make the tent strong and light. We light having two doors, each with a rain fly vestibule for stashing shoes and extra gear outside the tent. Things we wish were different: Screens on the doors could be lower for better air flow on hot days. Rain Fly: One night we had a drip develop where an item inside a corner mesh pocket was pushing against the outer rain fly, but that was fixed by adjusting the rain fly with one of the included guy lines. (Not sure if this is a design flaw or user error, but I was surprised an adjustment was needed). We missed having mesh pockets on the ceiling for additional storage and dispersing light with a stored headlamp. We missed that from our old tent. Ultimately, this is a good tent for the price.
