literally the perfect backpack in terms of build quality, features.

The Rhune 22 is my new favorite thing! Every feature is exactly what I was looking for in a new every day bag. The sleek, minimalist design does not have any bulky external pockets or gaudy logos plastered on it, which is preferred for me. This design is deceptive though, because the internal storage is incredible! There are multiple zippered pockets perfect for anything from bandaids to charging cables, and 2 dedicated slots for a laptop and a tablet. The quick access pouches on the top, side, and left chest can hold your daily essentials such as phone, wallet, keys, etc with ease. The water bottle holder is tight, but holds a standard 30oz bottle, and possibly more. The amount of storage this bag has as a 22L is incredible. It holds so much more! Once you open it up the main compartment expands and allows you to stuff it full of anything you need, and it carries it all so well. Currently using this bag as an every day bag, but could easily pack for a week long trip in it. The recycled materials are lightweight and do the trick, but leave much to desired in terms of style. The quality of everything from the zippers, to the mesh used for the pouches feels top notch. Small detail that was a big surprise was that the top handle is actually part of the bag! You won't ever have to worry about it tearing or ripping off. This bag is practically perfect in every way and I can not recommend it enough! If this bag were ever to be offered in a waxed canvas or cotton material it would truly be the perfect pack.

Two weeks and im very happy- replaced a 32L 'technical" bag with a compact commuter. Good: light, zippers, well thought out pockets, light colored interior = easier to find stuff. Places for improvement: Im 5'8" , 175 lbs and the shoulder straps could be a bit wider at the neck and longer for comfort. They do the job but the bigger packs give a bit more coverage. Big enough for 16 inch laptop, tablet, chargers, shoes and a puffer jacket which is plenty for daily needs.

I love the organization in this pack and was hoping this would become my every day forever backpack. Two major flaws prevent this and I'm devastated. 1. There is no hip support nor way to add one, and it can get too dang heavy to carry without it. 2. Maybe the more major one: it rides way too high on my back no matter how I adjust to even think about using it as a commuter bag for my bike. This is strangely difficult to accomplish, but it literally squishes into my helmet/back of my head when I'm on my bike no matter my posture. It's not as though I've ever had this problem before; It's a pretty major design flaw in my book for that reason. Because I used it on my bike I took the tags off and can't return it. I'm not in a financial situation where that is convenient or frankly, workable, given the cost of the pack. So the return policy is also an unfortunate issue. If I can't return it, I can't say I will be back to purchase from this company to try out other products.

I like this daypack very much, except for the fact that the bottom shape is such that the back will not stand up.

As someone with back and shoulder pain, I vas very apprehensive about a new backpack. Let me tell you- it holds up. I've packed it heavy and the weight always distributes and dissipates magically as soon as it's on my back. The organizational pockets are thought out without being overwhelming, and I like that the largest pocket unzips almost to a clamshell level. The small shoulder zippered pocket was my non-negotiable for headphones. The secret side pocket has been key for traveling and needing frequent access to my wallet and passport. But my absolute favorite thing about this pack is how slim it is. I can pack it full, but it will always fit under a seat or squeeze into a tight subway. I use it for commuting, 1-2 day trips, and a personal item for longer travels. Would highly recommend.

As a backpack nerd, I can definitively say this pack is ALMOST perfect. The pocketing layout is fantastic - the way the laptop can be accessed even while the pack is full is great. It's the first time I haven't wished a pack had a dedicated laptop sleeve. I also love the amount of quick access pockets the Rhune 22 has without exposing them easily to pickpockets. It's also wonderfully lightweight while still feeling high quality. There's one major issue though, and it's a dealbreaker for me. I believe this model was designed by Gregory Japan, and due to this, the straps & backpanel were clearly built for smaller people and women. The straps are super close together and will cause pain on your shoulders and neck if you are taller than 5'6." (I'm 5'10" and not at all overweight and this thing looks downright silly on my back due to the strap placement). In addition, the mesh backpanel material feels abrasive compared to that of previous Gregory packs I'd had (like the fantastic 32L Diode). Unfortunately, the backpanel/strap issues are a dealbreaker for me. If someone at Gregory is reading this, please cut about 5cm off the height of this pack (to better fit as a personal item on international airlines), add a bigger harness to fit western people, and use a less abrasive mesh on the backpanel. If you do that I'll buy 3 of them and loudly support this pack on Reddit!

Perfect office backpack. Great organization, good size to hold all I need, but not too bulky. Professional look. Love the AirPod pocket on the left strap.

I carry a laptop, tablet, 2 pairs of headphones, miscellaneous chargers and other work related tech and this pack has a perfect place for everything. Additionally, the back is FAR more breathable than it looks in pictures, you can actually feel air on your back while this is fully loaded. I looked at several Osprey and Timbuk2 options and neither offer a pack as well thought out as this. Would 100% recommend.

The fact the bag sits so high on my back I am unable to wear on my front (while I wear my 75 litter bag on my back) with comfort as it doesnt feel comfortable to wear with weight in it with the straps loosened. The bag sits where I would need to reach, so Im not stuck behind, aka peering over the bag to place my chin on the top. Fine for a comuter back pack, just not what my original intention was for this bag.

I bought this pack around September and it is awesome, it is the ideal backpack for the city with quality materials and a great design. I has also worked well for a few day hikes. The zipper broke about two months into using it, and I had to return it and get a new one, but otherwise no regrets

I've had this bag for several months. I use it for daily commute, work, and air travel. I'm able to keep things organized easily. For the most part, it feels solid with good hardware. The straps and the one chest-strap buckle could feel sturdier. My laptops fit perfectly. I put my larger Dell work laptop in the laptop sleeve, and I keep my smaller 13" MacBook in the sleeve in front of the actual laptop sleeve. There is another sleeve in each large compartment to keep my papers organized so they're not getting stuffed down the larger compartments. I love the easy access compartment at the top, it's deep enough to have all my quick-needs at easy access, but it's not too deep that things get lost. I also love the "hidden" side compartment, where I can keep my crypto hardware wallet secured to the lanyard. It's not really a hidden compartment, but you don't really notice it at a glance. I don't really use the headphone storage compartment on the shoulder very often. I forget it's there. I usually just put my AirPods in the top compartment with my easy-access items. But the small storage compartment is nice if you have something you need close and easy access. Love the adjustable chest strap. Makes for a comfortable airport trip when I have a full load. There was one instance where the chest-strap popped off cause I pulled the strap too tight, but I was able to slide the attacher back in the the slider after a little effort. The clasp and straps could feel a bit more durable. But it has held up well since that one incident. The only downside- it took me a minute to get used to all the zippers. I guess it's the price you pay for all the compartments. I find the two main compartments useful so I can keep my work separate from my personal. They're great for keeping things organized, but it took me a while to get used to automatically knowing which zipper is which, cause the smaller easy-access compartment is also on top and it's a longer zipper than regular "sunglass storage." So there are, what looks like, three big zippers along the top. I often open the wrong zipper when looking for something specific, even after using it for a couple months. Minor inconvenience for keeping my different lives separated. Maybe different colored zippers could to help differentiate the compartments for easier identification.

I really love the functionality and the understated design of this pack. The air cushion back panel and the cushioned handle are a big step up from the border and resin packs. I really wish the Rhune 25L had the same design as this one with separate zippers for laptop and main compartments instead of the weird flip top. I use this for overnight work trips when I can pack very lightly, and would love just a tad more space for a jacket or sneakers.

I have used my Rhune for 3 months now as my primary commuter bag for both the office and work travel, and ut is by far the best-designed and most sturdy bag I've ever had. The overall layout is perfect, with a great way to stash a laptop along with plenty of other space for extras. I frequently am able to use this bag as a standalone option for one night work trips as it has enough room for everything I need, but is still very compact. Pocket and zippers are very high quality; far superior to other brands I've used before. Overall, I love everything about this bag!

Same quality as all my other Gregory packs. Lots of compartments to stay organized. Use the pack daily for work commute. My only notice so far is that it gets a little too heavy based on the compartment storage.

This is a great everyday pack. I use it for work and for hikes. Fits more than I thought it would and there's a spot for everything. So comfortable that I'll be shopping Gregory for all my packs.

I have been using my Rhune 22 pack for a few months now and I love it. It is compact while wearing it, while spacious in the amount of thing you can carry. I enjoy the different compartments of the pack, especially how easy it is to access my laptop. I have traveled with it as well and it was simple and easy. It allowed me to not feel weighted down while walking through an airport and getting through TSA was a breeze. I would highly recommend this pack to anyone. It is great for daily use or for when you are traveling.

I have several day packs that crumple down as small as possible and I love that this one does the opposite. The stiff, comfortable back support makes a laptop and books equally as comfortable as jumbled grocery items on a bike commute. The opening to the main compartment felt narrow at the zipper, but opens up to ample storage at the base, and I ended up loving the sleek, tapered feel of the bag. There's also a satisfying amount of pocket storage for keeping things organized.

The Rhune 22 does not disappoint. It's every organizing freaks dream. Amazing for traveling and everyday commuting. I can fit everything I need inside with room to spare, while being ultra organized with all of the compartments. Great tech storage! There is room for my laptop, mouse, and pad. All the charging cords have their own pocket. I can also fit my external charging battery & phone charger. It's now basically my purse and backpack combined in one, with room for my large water bottle & lunch box. The only thing I am not 100% in love with is the rigidity of the back laptop panel & length of the backpack for a shorter person. I'm 5'5", and wear my hair down in a low bun a lot of the time. The backpack is a little too long on my short torso. I have to tighten the straps tight to get the backpack to sit comfortably and high enough on my back so the bags entire weight doesn't fall completely on my shoulders. But when I tighten the straps it pops the bag up high, so if I lean my head back or move my head side to side, my neck hits the stiff spot & my bun gets caught on the rigid laptop rectangle support on the back of the pack, is just slightly too tall for me. I would love to see this product come in an even shorter size for us vertically challenged folks. Thanks for an awesome, spacious & well thought out product!

I just got done with a week away on business using this backpack and it held up extremely well. I packed it full as a carry-on for my flights, but it worked equally well in a professional office setting. The straps are comfortable to wear and the pack felt very light even when packed full. I love the various pockets and storage space. It was very simple to organize.

I'm back to traveling for work so I needed a new backpack, and I'm glad I picked this one. It's not bulky yet has room for all my travel and work essentials, with plenty of pockets for laptop, cords, pods, water bottle. It's also comfortable to wear even fully loaded. And it looks good too.

Firstly, the vented back and straps make for a super comfortable fit. The pack offers all the same storage as my old day pack (plus some) but the construction make the pack more efficient and provides a slimmer, less bulky feel than the old pack. Stitching is sturdy, zip pulls are easy. Overall, a fantastic commuter bag that could just as easily go on a trail as an airplane. Well done Gregory!

This bag is perfect for daily use with so many great pockets for everything you need going to and from work or for travel. The size was deceptively large and holds far more than I anticipated. The shoulder straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. The pockets kept me organized and the overall bag has the simple style is versatile for everything I need.
