So, I bought this tent in 2020 to use for solitary cross country camping. I used it for 2 months last year and am almost through month 3 on this year?s trip. I travel from coast to coast and usually stay at any given sight for 2 nights. That?s a lot of setting up and taking down! I should also mention that I?m a 60 something female. This tent has met every single want/need I could have. It?s easy to set up. It perfectly fits my single cot and a camp table with lots of room for dressing and setting up my heater on the frigid nights. The awning prevents having to haul and set up a separate shelter. In mosquito country, I set up 2 thermacells underneath and that prevents the need for a net. It?s large enough for me to set up a camp table with stove and my chair. I never attach the awning to my vehicle because I need the flexibility of driving away after setup. I use extendable poles with two guy lines attached to each. With the poles, I adjust the height on one side to allow drainage on rainy days. I also carry an extra extendable pole to put up inside, at the ?v? in the front for rainy days, this prevents leaking inside. Overall I couldn?t be any happier with this tent and will probably replace with another one when the time comes.

Overall another solid product and concept from sjk. Took this tent for archery season in Colorado, worked really well, no real complaints. That being said the tarp could use improvements from a drainage standpoint. I remedied it with a additional pole.

HI, This is a great piece of kit. But you could take it over the top if you would add drop-down netting like the tarp it would be perfect. Think Maine or Alaska bug season. oztent has a similar tent, but there's is heavy and difficult to pack and for the price you nearly at the price of a roof tent. There is though an ability to add side panels to create a bug-free space. I have used SJK equipment for decades in my military career. It has stood up under some of the most demanding conditions, from desert to jungle, and to the mountains of Afghanistan. Great tent. Used dozens of times attached to my Tundra. Love it. Couple things though... Sorry guys, this is - decidedly - a two person tent. Biggest complaint: no rain fly. So, great in the desert...as long as it's not raining.

The tent is a a great product. Once you learn how to set it up, it takes less than 10 minutes. The only flaw I had was the section right when you step in the tent on top is flat, which will make a puddle when it rains. This occurred on my first-time use at a campsite. You will have to place a pole to prevent this from happening or just push the water off from inside. Even with a puddle, the leak was a minor issue. The canopy extending to the SUV was great. It felt like I was camping and tailgating at the same time. If the they figure out the one flaw, which again it's not a deal breaker to me, I believe it would be a 10/10 on my books. I wish I could place pictures to showcase the use of the tent in action.

This is an excellent tent. The awning attaches to my keep provides a great covered area between Jeep and tent. This is a very well built tent all the seams are sealed stitching is heavy duty. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

I've only used it once with my Tundra and raised height cap. I set it up myself using the instructions that came with it. And it was windy, but still it was not too hard to do. The awning could be a little longer to cover my high truck better but that's the only thing I would change. It's nice that this tent doesn't need a fly. You could set it up in the rain without the inside getting wet.

The tent and ?awning? were awesome! The tent is sturdy and works as it?s supposed to. The only thing we wish it had was a bigger window on the back for a better cross breeze during the day. The mesh on the front got torn and is easy to tear.

We used this item one time and it was so we had extra room off of our pickup camper. It worked for what we needed it to do, but it was tight with an XL twin cot and a twin air mattress. No floor space other than what was under the cot. The primary reason we bought this was to have a space that was wheelchair accessible for our adult son. After more thought, we decided to get a toy hauler so it would be a bit more protection in rain. One thing I would redo is have the top of the door flap be the tallest point, so if it is lifted higher than the rounded roof there wouldn't be a valley.

Very spacious and pretty easy to setup. For those wondering if it has a rain fly (it does not) however the seams are very well sealed and the main tent body is made our of rainfly material so I assume it will do just fine with rain, my only concern is the wind, but I assume if you stake it down and guy it out it should be too much of an issue because of the heavy poles and good construction of the Tent

I havent field tested it but Ive set it up in my back yard and staged up everything, This tent is nice a roomy. I would have like the piece of mind of an extra layer such as a rain fly or and add on piece for that. For those of you wondering the seams are taped, maybe that was a given but I didnt see anything that stated that. I will still be putting some water repellant spray though just for piece of mind. The only disappointment was that the connector piece was not the nice aluminum looking ones and are instead some nice heavy duty plastic help on by some type of bungee cord.

I have ment to review this since I've been out multiple times. I bought this tent over a month ago. I've used it now so many times that it's my second home. It shows on the box attached to a Toyota 4runner but I can tell you it works amazing onto my jeep wrangler 4 door. It started on a great spring day April 14th 2019 in the high lakes of Oregon. Set up was actually pretty easy, YOU MUST DOWNLOAD DIRECTIONS BEFORE LEAVING CELL SERVICE. IT DOES NOT COME WITH DIRECTIONS. Also note when new it is quite hard to stretch to fit poles into "T" corners. But after some grunting it went right up. I did not attach the straps to my wheels but I atrched them to my read door handles. This made it much easier to unstrap and roll off to find fishing. The vestibule on the tent is awesome. Come April 15th Monday, the weather blew in and it was a soaker. But with the vestibule secured to my opened rear of the jeep I can stand, sit, cook, clean, enjoy a great cigar and a drink. I did not leave the vestibule the entire day. It held up perfectly. No leaks, not even a drip and I did not even ad protection to the tent before using. Now make sure and use the cords to pull tight to trees and other secure points. It opens the tent and allows water to roll off away from the living area. I added the slumber Jack cot. The extra wide one. It barley fits but makes it for a very comfy trip. Use a good roll up mattress and I assure you, you will enjoy your little castle. Even with the cot I had a chair and storage area for clothes. No joke The small velcro windows with zippers worked great for cross breezes and I could easily stand up to stretch and move around comfortably. I am 6"2 After the days and a half of rain we got beautiful sun and 75 degree temps. This tent stayed cool and had great ventilation. Some condensation in the early morning but easily was gone after breakfast. Find me at Jay Getchell on social media of you have real world questions about functionality. I highly recommend this product.

I like it very nice to be able to stand up and move around with elbow room. Over my 40 years plus of setting up tents every one in the last 10 years comes with at least some simple directions. My self and a friend got it figured out but would have hated to get to a camp site at night and tried to set it by my self.
