I bought my first Chair Zero over five years ago, and since then have bought three more. The first one is still holding up. I was clumsy and allowed a fire ember to burn a hole in it last year, but with a small patch and some stitching it's held up perfectly as before. I bring a chair backpacking, bikepacking, road tripping, and to various events and it's the best lightweight companion that can easily fit in a backpack or messenger. Over time I have learned, if it's muddy or sandy, the ground sheet is absolutely necessary to keep the legs from sinking into the ground. Attaching a stake + rope to the bottom is also indispensable as an anchor in high wind.

It's definitely lightweight and decently comfortable. Slightly lower to the ground than I was imagining but will still work for me on a backpack elk hunt.

Ive bought a few versions of this pod chair, Wally world one and a Bezo knockoff, this one is definitely made of better quality materials. I am grateful to find something comfortable enough for me to sit for a period of time. Thank you so much, my next one will be the chair zero L!

I used to always use a small camping stool for car camping, running/racing events, bikepacking, and bringing it along on any outdoor adventure. I never thought that switching to a chair and having the ability to lean back would be such a game-changer. It feels so nice to be able to sit back and stretch your legs after a hike or long run. A needed upgrade in my gear.

As a 175lb person sitting on this chair does not provide much confidence and feels fairly unstable. To be fair, I have not fallen over or any part has broken? so far. Very very lightweight chair that packs as a compact companion. When counting oz/grams, this would be the chair I'd go for (if any). At any other time, I'd go ahead and select another more reinforced model. Very easy and standard setup/takedown.

Seems like a sturdy product, definitely does what it says on the tin. My rating is mostly due to the fact that this outdoor gear company says almost nothing about sustainability. No Bluesign, no 1 percent for the planet, nothing I could find on the packaging or the website. Not saying every company has to be Patagonia but... not impressed enough with the product or the company to justify the price.

Had tried other brands but returned them because they were not comfortable or not very light. This one is both and I love it. I am a bigger guy weighing 220 lbs and it fits me perfectly. Love relaxing in it.

First chair I ever thought to take backpacking and after one time I just don't mind the extra weight at all.

Great chair, packs down nicely, weighs almost nothing and is a great addition to taking the boots off after a long day. Would absolutely recommend whether car camping, backpacking or just sitting next to a fire in the back yard! Amazing product!

Love my new Chair Zero. Used it already for a chair to rest in on a long bike ride. So light to carry in my small backpack, easy to set up, and comfortable to take a load off my feet. I plan to use it camping, biking and for resting on kayak trips.

Incredibly lightweight and easy to transport. The initial feel of it naturally doesn't feel as sturdy or as relaxing as regular camp chairs but the ease of packing and carry make it worth the tradeoff depending on your desired activity. I won't replace my regular camp chairs completely but this is a nice alternative for certain occasions.

Really Nice and Light

The absolute lightest
The lightest and most compact Helinox chair ever. Still strong enough for the perfect adventure experience. Only 490 grams (without bag).
Lightest camp chair ever
Starting with the basic concept of the iconic Chair One, Helinox shaved 450 grams to produce lightest chair ever: Chair Zero. At just over 500 grams, Chair Zero weighs less than a 600ml bottle of water! The super compact travel size will fit in any backpack.
Compared to Chair One, the frame sits slightly lower to the ground and the seating angle is a little more upright. One of the major areas of weight saving is the seat fabric. It's a lightweight material with a reinforcing grid of high-tech non-stretch thread that's still strong enough to support 120kg.
Now you can rest your back no matter where you go.
Chair Zero won a prestigious Gold Award at the 2017 Friedrichshafen OutDoor Industry show.
