Morgan Falls Overlook Park

Located about 25 miles north of Atlanta, Morgan Falls Overlook Park is a 30 acre riverside park with picnic pavilions and restrooms. A Chattahoochee River reservoir, this site offers a serene and natural place for beginners and advanced paddlers alike. The smooth waters of the reservoir are a great place to learn to SUP if you’re new to the sport.

Lake Tugalo

Finally, straddling the Georgia-South Carolina border, Lake Tugalo offers beautiful scenery and serenity. Located in the Chattahoochee National Forest, there is little boat traffic on the lake, making it a good spot for peaceful paddling. Lake Tugalo is in North Georgia, about 135 miles from Atlanta.
