oregonIf you’ve been following SunnyScope for any length of time, you know we are big fans of nature timelapse videos. Timelapse videos are such an amazing way to see the many vistas a landscape has to offer without moving from a single place, allowing the viewer to span hours, days, or even weeks in just a matter of minutes. While time may move fast through the lens of a timelapse video, the sights beheld by the audience leave lasting impressions and inspire countless thoughts and actions in appreciation of our amazing planet.

This timelapse video of Oregon definitely falls under the category of impressive, highlighting some of the state’s most renown features alongside wilderness landscapes that seem to have been lost in time. Delivered by Uncage the Soul Productions, this video is the culmination of 1,600 miles of travel across Oregon to all four corners over a period of six months, shooting at locations like the Columbia River Gorge, Mount Hood, Crater Lake, the Deschutes River, the Alvord Desert, the southwestern coastline, and the Blue Mountains, just to name a few.

Weather in Oregon is notoriously fickle, but despite the challenges that each new terrain offered in terms of climate, the team of photographers produced a brilliant inside look into the profound nature of this Pacific Northwest gem. The music that accompanies this video takes it to a whole other level, so be sure you have the volume turned up for this one. Enjoy, and don’t forget to share!
