With all the new types of consumer “holidays” popping up every year, it’s important to remember that life isn’t just about getting great deals and more stuff. The old adage “It is better to give than receive” holds particularly true for many during the holiday season, which is no doubt part of what caused Giving Tuesday to spring up among Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday. So this Tuesday, if you’re able, please donate to support wildlife conservation!

If wildlife and their habitat are near and dear to your heart, consider supporting a wildlife conservation group for this Giving Tuesday. The best thing about supporting any group or cause is that there is no expiration date for your generosity, so if you miss Giving Tuesday, you can still support what matters to you!
Here is a small list of wildlife conservation groups that are always looking for support in a variety of ways, not just a donation. Make this Giving Tuesday a special one for you and a conservation group (or groups) you care deeply about!
Conservation Groups:
- International Fund for Animal Welfare
- Paws
- Wildlife Conservation Society
- The Jane Goodall Institute
- Conservation International
- Panthera
- Project Aware
- Gorilla Doctors
- Defenders of Wildlife
- National Audubon Society
