The famous New York City Central Park is a great place for birdwatching. Late spring is the best time to watch birds in this area. More than 70 different species are viewable. Some of these are warblers, orioles, tanagers and others that come from warm areas. In the fall there are sparrows, hawks, and eagles that travel through Central Park, and ducks are generally always around.

Ospreys and falcons make an appearance in the fall, and a little farther north herons and egrets can be seen during the warmer weather. There’s a wildlife refuge not far away, where a wide variety of birds can be seen.

Aransas National Wildlife Refuge – Texas
