There’s no more exquisite bacon in the world than bacon cooked over a campfire, and when you supplement it with oatmeal made from scratch and savory scrambled eggs, you’ve got a naturally gluten free camping meal that will give you all the energy you need to enjoy a day in the outdoors. Be sure the oats you bring to make oatmeal are simply oats, with no other grains or additives. With a little butter, maple syrup or brown sugar, and seasonings for the eggs, this is one of the simplest meals you can make.
2. Chili with Cheese and Corn Chips

Chili is a favorite comfort food for many Americans, and making this gluten free camping meal requires little effort. This recipes calls for beans, seasoning like cumin and salt and cayenne if you like it spicy. Ground meat also makes for a great addition to this dish! Finally, a little shredded cheese and serve with pure corn chips for a satisfying meal any time of day.
3. Grilled Fish and Vegetable Packets

If the dinner hour has you hankering for meat as your main course, you can easily whip up foil packets filled with fish fillets of your choice and plenty of fresh vegetables. Simply place your fillet on a large piece of aluminum foil, add a few pats of butter, and season with salt, pepper, dill, lemon pepper, garlic salt, or any number of other seasonings to suit your tastes. Add chopped vegetables like carrots, asparagus, green beans, corn, tomatoes, fingerling potatoes, yams, or squash along with some lemon and herbs, and cover with another piece of aluminum foil.
