the fan hangs from the top of tent. the light is bright and the fan does give a good breez.

We hung the fan/light combo from the ceiling of a 12-person tent using the magnet method. Will this item work in a pop-up camper? I'm not sure if I have anything that the magnet will stick to.

If your pop up is cloth (canvas or similar), this fan comes with both a magnet, and a piece of metal that you could put on the top (outside) to make the magnet stick. Not sure about how thick that material is, but it holds tight through a tent.
Or it can hang on a hook or fabric loop if there is one on the ceiling. That's how we use it in our tent usually.
If there is even a beam to put string around, that will work too. The magnet hooks to the fan.
Mounting is pretty flexible.

I bought this for my tent and didn't use the magnet. Jimmyrig it to hang from a hook or cord. It's lightweight and works well considering its size. For a big area you will need more than one. In the tent it circulates the air and works well. The light is pretty bright too.

You can remove the magnet and just hang it with the clip, it will attach to anything you have to hang it from.

Yes. It has a metal bar you put on the outside, and the fan magnet on the inside sticks to it.

We have two of these and use them in a large, family-style tent and don't use the magnet. Instead, we use the carabiner-styled loop on the top to connect to a loop in the tent ceiling above the sleeping area.
