We spent a lot of time researching tents when it came time to upgrade. We took a chance on the Limestone and couldn't be happier. The tent is absolutely enormous and fits my partner and I perfectly, with room to spare. The setup is sooo easy, the colors are amazing, and we love having two doors, one for each of us. Quality is great for the price point. Can't say enough good things about this tent.

The tent itself is fantastic. It's sturdy, spacious and really easy to set up. However, the zipper on my rainfly broke so I reached out to Marmot support and it took them 4 months to respond only to tell me "we do not carry spare parts for our products," here's 20% off. I simply wanted a replacement rainfly and was even willing to pay for one. Great quality product, but extremely disappointed in lack of support.

Seemed high quality. I was enjoying it. Windy day out camping bent the metal tent poles and caused three holes in the sides from rubbing against interior bags. Sent tent in for repair. The ENTIRE repair experience was a joke. I was quoted 9-12 weeks for repair IF IT WAS APPROVED, after I had already gone through the work of sending it in. I called every 3-5 weeks. They kept telling me it was only a couple weeks out. I gave up on it getting fixed after five months, then it randomly showed up on my doorstep seven months later. Repairs look good, but repair experience was laughable.

Great tent! Easy to assemble, shape and height for a dome tent is great. Love the two vented doors and privacy panel on the one side.

Giving 4 stars for build quality, ease of setup, looks, smooth zippers, great size, and that it's a free standing 2-main-pole tent (plus 2 aux poles). And it's Marmot. Why I would not recommend: 1. Huge, beautiful, half-the-tent sized mesh screen... but when, in any typical situation, are you not going to put the rain fly up? This means this beautiful feature (of course) is covered by the fly. A clear skylight would have been a great bonus in the fly. 2. No screen on the back door, which makes it a wall. Because everywhere you camp has flies, bees, ants, spiders, etc.... Which means no cross wind air flow (not to mention the fly is on which restricts any air flow). 3. Curious why this doesn't have a porch and awning setup like the Torreya??? All the anchor points are there, just the zipper design is changed so it's a "roll-to-the-side" front door. 4. The color attracts bees. Really does. 5. This is a one season tent only. August nights in the mountains in Oregon in 60 deg, and this is a cold tent. 6. Marmot, please always include a footprint. That one is confusing. 7. Only 3 of the four fly corners have clips, the fourth you have to tie the straps together by hand. Not sure if mine was a defect? But a bit clunky.

Tent is easy to set-up and great size for two people, big dog and our gear. I appreciate that the instructions are sewn into the bag and are easy to understand.

A great tent for car camping. Very roomy with enough space in the main vestibule to close the tent door before opening the rain fly. I would also consider using this tent backpacking if we were setting up a base camp for a crowd - packing the poles and tent separately will let them take up much less space. It sets up quickly and easily with either one or two people. We plan to purchase the separate footprint to have this tent last as long as possible - we got it on such a good sale that even with the footprint it will be less than $300 total.

This was a impulse purchase to replace the 6 person tent my son snagged for the summer. I absolutely love it! It?s much like my bigger marmot, easy to set up, feels like it will be steady in different kinds of weather, and has lots of room. I wish there were more storage pockets inside but I think you can get some sort of gear loft. It also felt like a good deal here on this site.

Have only used this tent once so far--and it worked great! Setup is really easy. Solid construction. It has plenty of space for three adults. Four would be a little tight in my opinion but doable.

I am old and have been buying and building tents my entire life (I am 77 years of age). I have backpacking tents, car camping tents, hrse packing wall tents and have made literally hundreds of tipis I have used and sold at pow-wows and for elk hunters. The best tent for light weight car, horse, backpacking and use in floating rivers is the Marmot L4 limelight from Marmot. I love my wall tent or tipi in the Fall in the backcountry. However for camping on Salmon River in my dory I like the additional security of bug and reptile protection. The Marmot is fast and unlike most fiberglass poles the aluminum from Marmot does not hang up in the sleeves and the clips are fast. They are just the right combination of sleeve, clip, and pole material. I could have gone for the Marmot L6 for more space but the occasional backpack use made the L4 the choice for my wife and I. Very nice tent- spacious and sharp looking. I wouldn?t mind a couple more pockets but that?s just fine. Absolutely love the dark green fly, so many are super bright colors which I think pollutes the scenery. This looks like it?s going to be a super tough tent, hopefully able to withstand my kids and dogs. I love that it?s tough and relatively lightweight for it?s size.

Marmot is a well made tent. We first had the limelight 3P which small but very airy. I used it for motorcycle camping because of its pack size. Then I added a trailer to the motorcycle and had more room for a bigger tent. We got the Limestone 4P. Same great quality. Completely waterproof. Not quite as airy as the limelight with the rain fly on, but it has been a hot summer so hard to really say. The little extra warmth may be great in the spring and fall. I would recommend either tent to anyone.

I was looking for a tent that would work for both a father (me) with his cub scout but also work for the rest of the family. Super easy to set up and I really like the extra thick floor, which many tents in the price range don't have.

This is my first car camping tent and I researched for weeks before ordering this one. Very happy so far. Watching videos before going out the first time should have made setup a breeze. The body of the tent and the fly have color coded squares sewn into the webbing. Red to red , good to go.Right up to the point where a factory worker sewed one of the red squares on the back corner instead of the front. Finally figured out the mistake as it was getting dark. Set up your new tent at home first is my new motto! Great zippers, very smooth. The door mat on previous models has been eliminated on the 2017 version, so I just got a waterproof picnic blanket to slide under the front. Keeps the inside clean. I'd buy this again!
