In my opinion. This is the best budget tent in the series for three seasons. For one, it is a bit difficult. But for two just right. Although we do not go so often, but I prefer to choose it for two and something single for my solo hikes than universal for one. We were standing on a ridge high in the mountains, there was a very strong wind and it was raining for several hours in a row in the tent, but it was dry and scary. I like that the bedroom is protected from drafts and a beautiful view thanks to the grid in front.

We have Limelight 4p and this one tungsten 2p. LOVE them both. So easy to put up and take down. Spacious inside with brow pole. We appreciate the included footprint, storage pockets and the double doors.

Super happy with my tent and Sunny Sports FTW with the best price and great shipping. The tent is light and roomy enough for two backpackers, especially if you split it up. Seems watertight, but haven't had to test that out yet. Lots of sky and breeze and some nice privacy panels without the fly. The 'knees' on the poles I thought would be awkward, but they're solid and really make a difference. Lots of pockets and a good footprint. Need a few more stakes and lines to fully tie everything down though, but only for a storm.

Just what I had hoped for. Perfectly spacious for two people. The poles took a bit of getting used to since they are one connected piece but they break down and set up with ease.

Easy to setup. Seems spacious. I haven't used it yet but if it's like my other Marmot tents then it will last a while! Very durable

It's pretty tight with 2 adults and 2 kids compared to other 4-person tents I've used. Super easy to set up and tear down. Waterproof, but stays very warm with the fly on and vents open. It rolls up nicely into the carrying bag.

I recently purchased the Marmot Tungsten 3P tent for a camping trip - this tent is hands-down the simplest and most sturdy tent I have owned. You can see and feel the quality of all the components(zippers, connectors, quality plastic clips on fly) of the tent the minute you pitch it for the first time - these are all the vulnerable points where most of my tents tend to fail. An added bonus - the bag the tent comes in is larger, so zero issues with packing the tent after "factory-pack" - big bonus!!

I cannot recommend this tent highly enough. I bought it because of its positive reviews when I needed something to replace my ten-year-old Coleman tent that I bought in college. I wanted something that would last me a while and that was a step up from my old tent...but also one that wasn't exorbitantly expensive. I only camp a few times each year. At the sale price (~$250) this felt like a bargain. After pitching the tent, which was a breeze, I liked the look of it from the outside well enough but wasn't thinking much of it. I soon learned that you can't fully appreciate how awesome the tent is until you lay down in it at night and enjoy the unobstructed panoramic view of the sky & stars that it offers (with the rain fly off, of course). Maybe I haven't been in enough tents but it really was breathtaking for both my partner and myself. I love that it's basically 75% screen with a perfectly (minimally) sized and placed band of fabric for privacy. Honestly you could probably take it on an overnight hike too if you're traveling with others to distribute the gear load. It's pretty light for how big it is. It kept moisture out perfectly with the rain fly on. Others can speak more to the tent's longevity, but I've had great luck with Marmot products in the past.

This is a amazing tent the whole canopy is mesh so the star gazing is going to be incredible. The tent goes up amazingly quick and has 4 double pockets inside to keep everyone’s items organized. The headlamp diffusion pockets are a really nice addition. I can’t wait to spend more nights out under the stars.

Great size for two people and a 55lb lab/border collie mix. Easy entry/exit with two doors and easier set up than the comparable big agnes I had tried. Highly recommended for 2 people and a dog. The orange color is a lil brighter than in the photo.

After a soaking rain when inside the tent remained dry, there is a process for removing the fly to prevent water droplets from entering the tent mesh when disassembling the tent for packing. Do not brush the water droplets from the tent or the droplets may penetrate the fly and fall into the tent, but carefully lift the fly from one end of the tent as connections to the tent are detached, so the water droplets roll off the fly and onto the ground as more of the fly is detached and removed toward the other end of the tent. Once the fly is separated from the tent, then you can shake the fly to free any remaining water droplets.

Typically when buying a tent, I have always gone by the raiting of 3 person really meaning 2 plus gear. This has a little extra room as well. VERY Easy for one person to put up in just a couple of minutes, rain fly is easy too. The tent is light and comes in a small bag, so easy for camping while hiking.

This tent is awesome. I wanted to wait after my purchase so I had a chance to use it before I wrote a review. I have taken it camping a few times now, and it has performed great each time. Set up is a breeze. One person can do it in about 20 minutes, no problem. It comes with footprint, and a full rain fly. The large storage in the vestibule area is a great feature. It is waterproof. On one trip to the BWCA, it rained for three days. We were dry inside the tent. While it is a little heavier and bulkier than other models. I tend to go for durability rather than saving a few pounds of weight. It is a tough tent, and should last a long time. can't say enough about this tent, really a good value. Sunny sports is also a great seller. They ship very quickly and are courteous if you need any changes.

I am 6'3" and 200 lbs and this tent just accommodates my size. Enough vertical clearance to dress and pack up gear during a rain event and stay dry. Weight is close to advertised and tent is easy to assemble. I used it last weekend on a backpacking trip in the Uwharrie National Forest with a group of Boy Scouts. Temps dropped into the upper 20s but the tent warmed up quickly so I was comfortable in my Mountain Hardware sleeping bag. Footprint is a bonus and price at Sunny Sports is the best around. Recommended for anyone my size or smaller.

This is a great tent at a great price. I had planned on buying to 2p model, but found the 3p model at a lower price than the 2p here. Extra space is a very good thing should bad weather keep you inside. Pros: Easy set up, Two doors, Included 'footprint'(custom sized ground tarp) Cons: Pegs, Gear loft attachment points, but no loft. (I consider these very minor issues)

Easy set up, love the 2 entrance lay out. It was very humid but cold the first (only) time I have used the tent. The fly was drenched on the inside in the morning. It worries me a bit.

I was looking for a light weight 4 person tent for my family. This tent fit the bill perfectly. Just over 8 pounds, easy to set up and spacious inside. The first night of our trip an unexpected rain storm came through, we stay dry and comfortable in the tent. It is nice that it comes with its footprint. The vestibules offer enough room for a decent amount of gear. Front and back doors are convenient. I had looked into several different kinds of tents. The size weight and price of this one we're perfect. The color was also a deciding factor for some reason most tents are garishly colored I prefer earthtones. I hope to have many years of use from this tent, it seems built to withstand it. Sunnysports was very helpful they communicated over a weekend their responses for prompt and informative. They made sure my package arrived on time for my trip. I will definitely be shopping here again.
