Team Bottles

Bought a baker's dozen for my son's basketball team. The bottles are great and everyone loves them. The locking feature keeps the water from spilling if tipped over on the bench which had been a problem with non-Camelbak bottles they had been using. The valve flows plenty of water for them to remain hydrated between shifts on the court and to re-hydrate during time outs. Great bottle for other uses beyond cycling.

Bring back the old style

I've had 4 or 5 previous Podium Chill bottles and the new design is awful. The top has too many parts. The bottle itself is really stiff and you cant squeeze get the last 4 or 5 ounces out of the bottle.

Looks Great -- Doesn't Operate Like Older Version

While the color was what I was going for, the Podium version simply does not allow as much liquid to be squeezed into your mouth as the previous version of Camelbak's water bottles. In fact, about HALF as much! So it's frustrating.

Nice bottle, lousy top

While I like the looks of the bottle I have to agree with the other reviews...the flow from the nozzle is minimal and it’s work just to get that minimal amount. The old style jet valves worked much better.

Love it

Keeps drink colder than any other water bottle :)

The low down

Keeps liquid about as cool as other insulated bottles. For a gulp of water, requires you to squeeze the bottle. Disassembly is not "painful" but gives 4 parts to the cap rather than a standard dispensing cap which is much simpler both on the bike and in cleaning. No directions to disassemble for cleaning so: 1) remove the inside cap 2) remove the inside ring. 3) Rotate to proper alignment then pull out the dispenser tube out toward the outside of the cap. Now done.

BRING BACK THE 2018

I am obsessed with my 2018 style podium chill, I cannot go a day without it. It had the perfect ratio between size, weight, mouth feel, and drinkability. You can easily chug a decent amount of water by squeezing the bottle when your training and dying of thirst. HOWEVER, this new update is not the same! It is hard to squeeze and rotate the lock on the top making it more difficult to drink quickly while your playing sport or training. The mouth piece is much harder on your teeth and difficult to grip onto or chew leaving for an unsatisfying mouthfeel. I was so upset to see a change in my all time favorite drink bottle when I went to the store and not to mention the ugly colorway selection. The lid looks sleek but the colours and patterns are very sub-par. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL!
