Helpful in the Canyon!

I bought this product about a 2 months ago. I find it really helpful when I take tours at the lower antelope canyon. I'm able to fit all the stuff I need and also keep my water stocked. It's light weight and comfortable.

Roomy and Comfortable

Larger size camelback is roomy and comfortable. Fabric on straps that rub up against clothing is already gone showing wear after just one use. I would prefer a larger pocket on top for cel phone, wallet etc.nas I put bike and motorcycle tools in the larger one. I wanted one like my old one I had that lasted 10 years but couldn't find it.

Excellent. Quality construction. Perfect size for me. Stars don't stay lit, but I rate this backpack 5stars.

Spot on design.

Belt is very comfortable. Belt pouches extremely convenient for chapstick, trail mix. Fit is very good, slender enough, curved right to transfer load to belt. Day hiked Appalachia and Colorado.

Excellent Trail Pack!

The Red Helena 20 Camelbak is everything I needed and more! It was great for our day hike. It carried more than enough water and snacks, that includes the bladder and several water bottles. It's a nice, comfortable size for my small frame body. Plus it can be adjusted to other body sizes too, which is great for me and my fiance to trade it off. My fiance liked the easy accessible drinking straw. He ended up drinking the majority of the bladder water (haha he said his next hike he WILL have one of these. In the heat of summer in the South packs can be hot and sweaty on my back, this one did pretty good as far as 'breathable' goes. One thing that was cumbersome for me was there isn't really a place to put your phone while on the trail if you want to reach it quickly. There are zipper pockets on the hips but they are too small for my phone (iPhone 6s). I had to put it in a water pocket on the side, which I had to get help to reach when I needed it. Other than that I didn't have any problems with it. Great pack over all.

Perfect size

I purchased the Helena 20 to replace another Camelbak that was stolen. I loved the old bag but this one is great too. Has lots of pockets for storing and a clip for my keys. I really like the hip belt which allows me to adjust to take the weight off my shoulders. I really wish they would have stuck with the old design to hold up the hydration pack from the top. It's difficult to get a full hydration pack into the space and make sure it is hooked under the screw on cap.

I use this pack weekly for hikes. It's the perfect pack for day hikes, and my sister has already purchased one, too.

Super light and great utility

I've used this on several hikes and runs now and it's a great addition to my gear. For half day to day long hikes, it's perfect. If I dont pack much, it cinches up tightly to be streamlined on my back. If I had one suggestion, it would be to make the straps slightly softer. The material is fine with a good short sleeve or long sleeve shirt on, but when wearing a tank top, the straps can irritate the shoulders on longer hikes. Highly recommend for easy and difficult half day and day long hikes and runs.

Perfect for day hikes

I just went on a hiking trip through 5 national parks. This bag was exactly what I was looking for in terms of amount of water and extra space. We hiked around 10 miles a day, and this bag was perfect. Plenty of space in the bag for extra layers, snacks, extra water, and whatever else you need! There are lots of pockets, it’s pretty waterproof (but after over an hour hiking in the pouring rain, some of the inside was wet), it’s comfortable, and it has hooks for anything you need to attach to your bag.

Got for my sister. She’s obsessed. Has plenty of pockets & is comfortable to wear. The orange accents looks so good against the forest green. Got this for camping/hiking & it’s perfect size.

Why did you choose this?

I have been searching for a slightly larger daypack with more features than the smaller, minimal packs I already own. The waist belt, stash pocket, and included bladder for the price makes it appealing.

How do I attach walking sticks on the Helena 20?

BEST ANSWER: According to the manufacturer, the poles that are to be attached to this pack need to be retractable. The tip of the pole can be inserted on the lower loop and the top can be placed under the cinch strap as you compress the pack. You can contact me at custserv@sunnysports.com attention to Diana, and I can send you a photo of where the poles go on the pack.
