Great way to keep track og your hydration levels

Because of the valve, you tend to sip in more water than usual. This is a great way to stay hydrated through out the day. The bottle is also very handy for travelling as it can be clamped to any bag though the wide mouth. I first used it in Dubai when I visited my sister. After that all of my family members have one of these bottles in different colors and we love using them.

Great bottle but...

This is my first Camelbak bottle and I've had it for about 5 months now. I use my bottle every single day. I'm a college student so I'm always in a hurry. The bottle is very durable for how rough I am with it. I also love the leak proof and spill proof design. I love all the different colors that are available, it was hard to chose but untimely chose the color Iris, a rich purple color. It's design is easy to flip, bite, and drink. However, over the course of the last 5 months I've began to ...

my favorite bottle

I love this water bottle. I always carry it with me. It help me drink a lot of water daily!

Perfect all-around water bottle, love it

By Mindful M.

My sons ages 5 and 8 use these water bottles for their sport activities. The hook on the lid is perfect for their fingers, and mine, to comfortably hold the bottle when full. The .6L and .75L sizes are also perfect for their backpack side bottle holder, and perfect amount of water where they are hydrated and not carrying extra water/weight. I also use them for day trips and just throw them in a shoulder bag and they never ever leak. I don't worry about just tossing them in with all our stuff. A nice feature is that you can use them with the mouth piece and straw, or without the straw and just tip. Versatile: I like to tip, the kids can't always do that when it's full so the straw is necessary. All around a good looking, durable and very useful bottle that is the main water bottle used by our family.

Really nice water bottle and very durable. At first it was a little hard to open the mouth piece but after a few uses it was good.

Camelbak Eddy water bottle: Hydration's friend

By Eric C.

Owning a Camebak Eddy water bottle has been my solution to chronic dehydration. I know the importance of getting enough water every day, but I just wasn't getting it done until I started carrying my Camelbak almost everywhere. It is easy to clean. Durable.....good thing....I drop it often enough. I bought two extras because items I seem to go out of production.

I don't love drinking from straws so I only give this water bottle a 4 instead of a 5. It definitely takes effort to drink, if you are really thirsty, you'd be better off just taking the lid completely off. Haven't had it long enough to say anything for longevity. We clean it often with a sink of soapy water so can't speak to any mold growth, I worried about that. there are parts you cannot remove to clean, the rubber top being one.

Better than Nalgene

By Jennifer W.

I have the Nalgene bottle with a straw too. The camelbak is so much better. The Nalgene whistles and creates a vacuum that's hard and loud to drink from. The flexible mouth piece on the camelbak is comfortable, quiet, and easy to drink from. This bottle can leak when inverted so be careful when throwing it into a bag or back off the car. It doesn't leak a lot, more of a dribble/drip.

No leaks!

By Ann S.

I have bought many of these because they don't leak. You do need to run some bleach through the spout every once in awhile to keep mold down.

My go to water bottle!

I have used this water bottle almost everyday for a year. It comes to work with me everyday. I haven't had any issues with it leaking in my backpack, or mold in the mouth piece. It has taken quite a few drops and is still in great shape! It is a great around the house and going to work water bottle! That being said for my outdoor recreation activities, I use the Camelbak Podium Chill Water bottle instead.

Mouthpiece/Bite Valve Insight

I love my Eddy water bottles! I have about 4 and use them all the time! In a lot of reviews, I see people complaining about mold in the bite valve - you guys have to pull it off and wash it. The bit valve is removable - put it in your silverware holder in your dishwasher & it will come clean. If you have never done this, you may have to scrub it. I noticed that this was an issue when I got my first bottle, and someone told me you have to remove the bite valve and lo & behold - NO MORE MOLD! :D

The only bottles we'll use

We have tried several different water bottles and spill-proof cups for our kids and I always come back to CamelBak. I bought my first CamelBak off a personal recommendation that these bottles really increased water intake and encouraged drinking water. Now, my husband and I each have the largest Eddy bottles and our kids have the smaller ones. They don't leak, are great for travel, and ordering replacement parts is easy making our bottles last years. In fact, I've only had to buy new bottles because we take them everywhere and sometimes they end up lost.

I love this water bottle, I genuinely miss it when I forget it and must use a different bottle. I always hate small bottles and before I found this I never got enough water, but with this I stay hydrated and can carry 750 ml.

Camelbak Eddy

I first received a Camelbak Eddy free from an expo booth at the old college. I loved the bottle, however the bite valve grew black mold. No matter how much I wash it. At the time I didn't know I could buy replacement parts for it so I was told to just throw away the bottle. Every since then I have been struggling to find a new water bottle that I was happy with. Then I recently bought another Camelbak Eddy from my current college and I then purchased the Camelbak Chute lid to replace the bite valve and straw to avoid the black mold issue again.

Straw constanly comes loose from the lid

By Riles96

We have a few of these water bottles at home, and while they hold a lot of water which is nice for being out and about a lot, they leak and the straw has nothing securing it to the lid, so it frequently comes out and I have to uncrew the cap, fish it out, and shove it back in. This is extremely frustrating!
