BEST REUSEABLE BOTTLE ON EARTH

I Love my CamelBak Bottles...all 7 of them. I have 2 eddy.5L, 2 eddy.75L, and 3 eddy.6L. Im a huge biker and yogi and I always stay hydrated. The bottle cap has become my key holder via a carabiner on key chain, I freeze my water and these have zero bad effects from that. I have had my 2 .5L bottles since before they were called eddy and prior to stopping its distribution with the introduction of the eddy.6L, so I have had for a long time. I have had to replace bottle caps just from wear/tea...

Common problem with leaking.

I bought this product because my husband loves the Camelbak brand and warranty. He uses the bigger size, but I needed this size to fit in the side pocket of my backpack for school. I love the color, size, look, and everything else about it - EXCEPT it leaks. It leaks even when it is upright and closed. Water seeps up the straw, out the nipple, and down the sides, creating a pool of water beneath it. I'm not the only one who has had this problem; two other students I've spoken with have had th...

Great for airplane travel.

These bottles work great! Colors are great too. Being clear helps at airport security.

Great product at a great price

Love Camelbaks and Sunny Sports had it at the best price, so I purchased multiple!

Great Water Bottle

By Mom t.

Love this bottle. It is perfect for my daughter. However, since we switched to Camelbak bottles she drinks more water. She now drinks it all and we are going to get the larger bottle next. (This is all good.)

Perfect size

I continue to buy the 0.6L Camelback Eddy because it is the perfect size. It fits in my hand and car cup holders nicely. Most important to me - the weight is lower with the smaller size and is easier for me to carry in a purse.

I have had to replace bottle caps just from wear/tear/nature effects. I soak all my bottle caps in isopropyl alcohol...I hear so many complaints about how hard it is to clean them. I have no problem & mine is a lot of times in the sand/grass/weeds/beach sand. I use a pipe cleaner to get the hardest spots...around/under the bite valve and then I soak it in the alcohol along with my phone & mp3 player ear buds to clean proper/rid bacteria.

Best bottle you can buy

Just bought my second Camelbak bottle, first one was pretty worn after seven years of use, hiking, driving, walking. Compared some other cheaper bottles, but there is simply no real competition for the bite valve system.

Just bought a new eddy .6L to replace an old one I had that simply wore out from use. I go to the gym and use it heavily and it never fails me. Highly recommend it for anyone not just the avid gym user.

I'm not the only one who has had this problem; two other students I've spoken with have had the same issue. One of them said that the bigger size doesn't leak, but this size does. Both sizes have the same lid, straw, and nipple, so I have no idea why it's happening, but it stands true for my husband and I, too. I'd use the warranty to replace it, but it sounds like I'll just have the same problem repeat itself. Guess I'll have to get the bigger size if I don't want it to leak.

How do you clean the inside of the mouthpiece?
A shopper on Apr 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I bought the brush kit that Camelbak sells. It has a long thin brush that I use for the straw and I try to get the inside of the lid with it as well. I also put it in boiling water. I then run it through my dishwasher. I'm not sure I'm killing all the bacteria, but I haven't noticed any odd taste. I believe Camelbak sells replacement mouth pieces if necessary. I own several Camelbak bottles and have had them for 2+ years and I really like them.
