Best CamelBak YET!

I am a huge fan of not wearing packs, but a new bike purchase forced me to seek out other options. I have done a few long days in the pack and I am sold on the CHASE Vest. Most comfortable pack for biking yet and after a few minutes I forgot I was wearing it.

Works good with one exception

I bought the Chase Bike Vest in order to prep for the Dirty Kanza 100 and so far the product has performed as expected with one exception. The first time I used the vest the loop that is supposed to hold the hydration bladder in place ripped and therefore the bladder simply sits in the pouch. The little loop is simply thread and upon first inspection it is fairly clear (IMO that there was no chance it was going to last. I don't have the time to return, so using as is.

Excellent camelbak!

By Glenn R.

I love this camelbak! It doesn't move at all even when I'm going full gas through some roots or rocky segments on the trail. It's got plenty of storage compartments for my phone, gel, keys and tube/kit incase I get a puncture.

Really like design, fit, and functionality. Use it for both trail riding and running.

Also good for running!

I bought this vest because the running vests are fit too snug 40"+ chest. Thankfully this one fits larger people. The vertical chest adjustments were also superior because they are more adjustable for height placement. The only niggle is that with a full water bladder the weight distribution brings the front of the vest up. So just a note to put things in the front pockets to balance the load. The deep open pocket is also deep enough for trekking poles if you are so inclined and load them handle down. I wish one of the pockets was waterproof to keep electronics (phone dry in the rain... but there's there's always a plastic baggie.

Light, Simple, Functional

I bought this to as an addition to an old Blowfish pack that I have had. Long rides are fewer and the Chase Vest is perfect for short, fast rides. Pockets are ample for snacks, light jacket, and basic tools and pump. I'm 5'5" 130#. It fits me really well. Big guys may find that it may feel a bit tight. I find it to be more functional than lumbar packs and seems to feel less movement than waist packs. Overall, it's a great pack for rides less than 1.5 hours.

Balancing the Load!

Super stoked on my new hydration pack. Was looking for a pack that spread the load a little better, similar to a running vest and there you go, "The Chase Bike Vest" does exactly that. In back plenty of room for pump, spare tire, tool, tire levers, etc. Gu, gels, phone, keys, etc. up front makes a way more balanced and usable pack. 1.5L bladder works well for 3hr or less rides, would love a 2.0L bladder for 50 milers. All in all though this is the best bike pack I have come across for cross country/ ultra training and racing. P.S. wide front straps, balanced load and multiple side and chest straps keep this pack from bouncing around at all. Super secure!

User built and perfect for the bike

It’s immediately clear this product was built by cyclists for cyclists. After using a number of packs that weren’t easily accessed on the bike, I’m excited to explore new roads with The Chase

So Far So Good

Just recently purchased and has seen limit use, but so far no complaints. I did note that on my vest the clips to hold the drinking hose are on the right shoulder strap, but the slot where the hose goes into the reservoir compartment are on the left side... Unless the clips are detachable and can be moved over (don't look like it to me) seems and odd setup

Convenient pockets

Have been using this for a couple of weeks. The front pockets are great to have power bars and chap stick available without taking the vest off. Would like insulation between my back and the hydration bladder, but otherwise works very well.

Awesome

Plenty of water for my MTB rides. Perfect fit, stays close to the body without being tight, doesn't move while riding and feels light. Pockets on the straps fit my keys, large phone, action camera stuff and room for more. This has become my go to hydration pack. Love it!

Perfect!

Light weight, sits higher on back than other packs. Definitely a bonus when I ride the Dirty Kanza!

I’ve used this twice while mountain biking and I’m very satisfied. Many functional pockets and it holds more water than I anticipated.

Stays put when the going gets rough

Great for enduro/xc/gravel/casual and beyond! I have always been one to lean towards a pack versus loading my bike down with water and tools. My one gripe before getting this pack was the way previous filled/loaded packs flop around on my back during high speed and rough descents as well as the amount of surface area on my back being covered. This pack fixes all of these problems! I now find myself preferring it over bottles for my gravel races as well. My favorite part about the pack is the easy access pockets on the straps for grabbing a gel or some food on the move. My one con for this product would be the bladder size, though this is part of why the pack is so low profile.
