Perfect for the outdoorsman

Easy to setup. Stable and reliable. Folds to less than 1/2 inch thickness. Uses long lasting canned heat. I used it in 52 degree weather at an altitude of 5100' with 5 mph winds and it perform great. I highly recommend this quality product.

Coghans folding stove

Have not used yet, but is very wobbly. Maybe setting it in one place will make it more steady.

Great compact stove for kids. If child looses it in the woods, no big deal. Very safe to use and easy for a 12yrs old boy on camping trip with Boy Scouts...smile

A must have for an emergency!!!

By Ralph G.

Inexpensive $9.99 portable stove that is a very important part of anyone's emergency equipment! With a few Sterno burner cans, you can make coffee, fry bacon, cook eggs, and heat up most anything for as long as you have Sterno cans or heat tabs. This thing is well constructed and can support the weight of a small iron skillet! It folds up flat so you can take it anywhere, like in a back pack.Weighs just a few ounces. A great asset to have during an extended power blackout when your electric stove is useless! I got mine just after hurricane Irma in the wake of a 3 day power outage. Boy did it come in handy when I needed to have a cup of coffee, and a ham & egg sandwich! I ordered 2 more later on so I could cook my breakfast even faster! I used a portable stove similar to this in the Army when out in the field. This one is just as good!! I highly recommend it!

What does this stove weigh? Thanks
david n on Feb 23, 2013
BEST ANSWER: this stove is not considered ultra light. I cannot give exact weight but would say about a pound. if you are looking for super lightweight check Trail Designs 'caldera cone' or the 'sidewinder' .....multi fuel-stoves. hope this was helpful
How long does it take to boil a small pot of water?
lareng on Feb 16, 2014
BEST ANSWER: To be honest, it took forever!! I had better luck with the solid fuel tablets and pocket stove.. It takes 2 tablets to perck a full pot of coffee in the percolater.. It packs much smaller than this one and is easier to use... It takes about 11 min with the fuel tabs and at 30 min it still hadn't boiled with this setup... Just my opinion. Hope it helps!
