NICE Airhead Telescoping Paddle

Unless this is isn't for a kayak, just get a backup kayak paddle instead. I leave this one at home, and take a broken down kayak paddle for backup. If I really need a paddle out at sea, won't take much longer to put the two parts together than to twist this one into use.

It's a good oar!

How do I use the paddle?
A shopper on Jun 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I use it as a compact emergency paddle on small sailboats, like Laser or Sunfish. Very helpful when I'm becalmed, it's getting late, and I need to get back to shore. I drilled a small hole near the edge of paddle, near the tip, so I can run a small line in a loop from the handle to the hole. That allows me to secure it to the boat without flopping at the mast base. My first one lasted 3 decades before replacement.
