This is a very compact and lightweight light. I have both the 90 and 20 beam and also the UV for underwater photography. It comes with a spare battery and this is very useful!

20 degree works good when used as a flash light... 65 degree worked best for video under 6 feet

I have a gopro cam and got 2 UK lights attached on the mount and it is working great, gives you a lot of light and covers all the angles I want. They are not expensive and it does the job very well.

Called UK Customer service and they were very helpful. Got a new replacement, but haven't got the time to test it.

I spent over $700 on 3 of these lights. One had the 90 degree beam and DID NOT flood. One had a 65 degree beam, and flooded immediately. The last one had a 20 degree beam, and also flooded immediately. I prepared all 3 lights in the same manner. I've been doing photography for over 12 yrs. and know how to prepare my gear to work underwater. The 2 lights that failed were due to Manufacter's defect, in my opinion. I called Underwater Kinetics right away, and they asked me to send the malfuntioning lights to them, which I did. This was last week. No resolution yet....too soon. I liked the light the 90 degree beam shed on the fish. I think the other 2 beams are useless, and are only good as extra lights IF they work. Would only recommend the 90 degree beam.

The 65 and 90 degrees UK Underwater Kinetics are excellent for video. Soft wide light, just the way you want. It's very bright considering the small size. It's shipped with two rechargable batteries (with charger) that lasts over an hour each on max. I have a small go-pro rig with one of each.

Bring out the incredible underwater colors and intricate detail of marine life with the Aqualite Video LED Light. Fish and invertebrates hiding under ledges and holes often receive little ambient sunlight and require additional lighting for underwater videos to come to life. Lighting the foreground with daylight colored Aqualite illumination, while allowing the delicate blues and greens of the open water background to fade into the depths can produce prize winning videos.
The robust design throughout features double o-rings on the front and back rotary seals, anodized machined Aluminum power head and rotary switch, high impact ABS anti-corrosion body and stainless steel thread attachments. The construction of the Aqualite is solid and simple. Performance is peaked by allowing direct cooling of the LED and electronics through the anodized corrosion resistant head and tail switch. The body is molded from ABS to also prevent sea water corrosion. The switching is all mechanical in order to avoid interference with your compass as with magnetic switches.
Burn time is more than enough: 1.3 hour (600 lumens), 2.3 hour (340 lumens), 4.2 hour (220 lumens) or 8.8 hour (115 lumens). Light is Depth Rated to 500' (152.4 meters). The Aqualite is available in two models with different coverage. The Aqualite (90°) has the widest uniform coverage, whereas the Aqualite (20°) has a narrower beam, but more intensity. Use the 90° beam for the ultra-wide fisheye type cameras like the GoPro and the 20° beam for primary light for day or night diving.
The brightness can be stepped up from 100 to 650 lumens in 4 levels (full, 1/2 , 1/3, 1/6) using the rear power dial. The light eLED has a color temperature of 5000° K. The 4 step adjustment in brightness gives you the opportunity to control the brightness of highlights and shadows with studio type lighting. Or, just dial down the power to 115 lumens and it'll go for up to 9 hours as a focusing light. Mounting the Aqualite to your camera rig is easy. UK provides two 1/4 -20 threaded screw holes (1.2"/3.48 cm apart) on the side of the light which allow it to be connected to almost any ball joint or flexible photo arm on the market. The arm makers all have adapters for this type of attachment.
Power is supplied by a lithium ion battery which is charged from any USB power outlet or the included wall adapter. An additional battery is also included, so that one can be on charge while the other is out diving. Also, all batteries eventually wear out. The Aqualite will not require a trip back to the manufacturer for replacement. Those of you who are more experienced in underwater video will appreciate the fact that the Aqualite is so small that you can use two or more lights and still not be over weighted. A pair of Aqualites set at different brightness levels will add additional dimension and beauty to an underwater subject. So if you want to add color and make a big leap in quality for your underwater videos or still photos, the high intensity wide angle Aqualite is a great choice. Video Light comes with an Owner's Manual is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
