thinner than i thought they would be, can feel the cold go through them. made for keeping the chill off while getting in the car or train. purchased so i could use the touch ability without removing my gloves and that works great. also set them on-fire lighting a cig and didn't get burned. wool won't go up, only the finger cords for touchscreen on the tip of the finger flamed up. they can be used for a base-liner but they make other models for that. if your looking to be outside or clean off ...the car you will need heavier gloves.
