This is my super SuperStrand LT jacket adventure! I went to Iceland where I thought June would be about 40-50 degrees. Surprise, surprise... when it was in the 20-30's most days with snow, wind blowing so hard it was hard to stand up sometimes...I wore this jacket every day under a second thin jacket and was so toasty warm I had no trouble hiking in the beautiful countryside. It packs easily and so small that my suitcase wasn't over-bulging either! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. My only regret is that I didn't get the one with the hood.

Great everyday jacket also perfect to layer with if you're skiing or riding. Insanely warm for how lightweight it is.

This jacket is incredibly light weight, and fit well (5'3" 150lbs, medium). I didn't keep it because I decided I wanted the hooded version more. It's a great mid layer for really cold days, and warm enough to wear on its own until about -15°C

I love the softness of the fabric and it's so light and comfy I sometimes use it as a sweater. It's roomy enough for layering yet not too loose as-is. I love the rhubarb color-thought it would be good for safe hiking in hunting season but I'm wearing it this spring because it's a happy red-orange color. Kind of like tulips in the sun!

I like this jacket a lot, it's warm and so versatile. I wear it hiking and around town. I got the dark blue and it's so easy to wear with ANYthing. 5'5", 135lbs. Ordered Small. Arms are long and if it's not zipped all the way up, it slips a little back off my shoulders

I am 5' 3" / 160 lbs. I ordered a large because I wear 3 somewhat bulky layers underneath. Without the layers I could wear a medium. It fits well in the breast and hips without pulling. There is no gapping between the sleeves and my gloves so the sleeve length is great. I've worn the jacket in 10 degree weather for about an hour with only a long-sleeve polyester pull over underneath and was perfectly comfortable. If it were longer, I may have added another layer. To order again I would have gotten the one with the hood. A hood normally bothers me because they are so bulky but this jacket is SO soft that when the hood in not in use you'd not even notice its there! Now, I'll order a Treeline beanie that color matches! TREELINE COLOR IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I really like it. The color is not my favorite, and it is a little too big on me (I am between sizes) and even so, I really like. Very lightweight and very warm. I wear this on dry cool/cold days as an outer garment. It looks nice, too.

The jacket is ultra lite weight but it does a fairly good job at keeping me warm in cooler weather. I wouldn't venture into freezing conditions with it. The fit is odd, snug shoulders with big mid section which makes it a boxy jacket that fits like a mans vs a women's jacket. I'm 5'7" 140lbs and there's a huge amount of room in the medium. Would exchange it for a small but I'd lose the shoulder movement necessary for outdoor activities. Buyer beware, these folks have horrible customer service so whatever you do, don't remove the tags before trying it out and they won't honor a price change when an item comes on sale just a few weeks after purchasing it from their website.

I have used this jacket during the Fall and Winter - for hiking, skiing and travel. The small fits me well, although a bit generous (which is fine for me to accommodate layers). I love the inside pockets, although narrow, but can fit some maps, extra gloves, etc. The outside pockets are good sized and the zippers have never snagged. The jacket packs small in my pack, so I almost always have it with me & can put it on at the summit or when it gets windy. For cold winter days, I use it as a mid layer, underneath a down jacket & shell. But, for most temps, the jacket functions well on its own over my usual layers. I highly recommend this jacket and love the mauve color.

I returned this only because I can't stand the colors. Loden is a depressing olive green/black (seems darker than in the website pictures). Black is simply depressing. Moth is the color most companies always offer in clothing to say "I'm a woman", which I avoid. C'mon OR, make some fun and bright colors! I kept the hoodie version and wrote a review about that. I'm sure this jacket would perform the same as the hoodie, hence the 5 stars.

Love this jacket! I appreciate how lightweight this jacket is compared to other puffies I have had. It stuffs easily into even a small pack for day hikes when I know the temp might change. And it is so lightweight that I never have to question whether to bring it along or not. Highly recommend!

This jacket is amazingly light, but provides excellent warmth. It's so light and comfortable, sometimes I forget to take it off when I get inside. I'm 5'7", about 130 lbs and ordered the small but it was a little tight across the shoulders. Exchanged it for a medium and it fits perfect. Love the little extra length in the sleeves so my wrists stay covered. I'm in KY and this will be the only jacket I need to get me through winter.

Wore my Superstrand jacket for the first time today (just got it yesterday), so impressed!! Temperature on todays hike was 29 degrees, snowy and windy. Never felt the wind through the jacket. I was very skeptical yesterday when I took it out of the package because it was so light weight and thin. Wow - looking forward to wearing it on colder days than today! It is going to be a great jacket for travelling, not bulky, folds so small! Fun color (moth).

As someone who always runs cold, I was pleasantly surprised by this jacket's warmth to weight ratio and weather resistance. The jacket compresses to almost half the size of my down sweater and keeps me just as warm so I can see that this is going to become a favorite four season layer within my pack.

This jacket is everything I wanted it to be and more. I love how lightweight it is and it still keeps me warm. I went for a walk last night thinking I would avoid rain (I live in the PNW) but half-way through my walk the skies opened and it rained for about 15 minutes. The coat is advertised as water resistant and it really is...when I got home and hour later I was warm AND dry. I'm impressed! I've had a few down jackets that keep me warm as long as it doesn't rain, but this SuperStrand is going to replace them all. I got mine in Moth...but I also love the yellow/gold color it comes in.

I love that it's different from the puffy I usually wear. It's lighter, packs smaller, doesn't have a hood that can get wet (and I usually love hoods), and is form fitting! It fits perfectly in my favorite gear collection. Thank you for such a well thought out and designed product!!

I really like the deep pockets and the bonus inside pockets of this jacket. The Moth color is so pretty and the fit is true to size. A lightweight warm jacket perfect for hiking and chilly, breezy weather. Very soft and comfortable.
